If it's for my team I'm obviously picking the title but as a non-bias fan there for the enjoyment of the game I'd take into account the entirety of both games.
Lol

Last year's championship the first half was very boring. Then Saban made a Goat call putting the freshman in. Honestly from the 4th quarter to the end of the game Bama made it look easy. Blown coverage isn't as entertaining as a kick six to win the game
Lol again. Plus we are talking about greatest finish. Come on man, it just is. You know it, I know it, we all really deep down know it.

Add to that Boise State's finish against Oklahoma in 2007 Fiesta Bowl and you've got a list.

If I include the bringing you back from 13 part, I also have to include how absolutely dreadful the 1st half was. Let’s call it a wash in terms of greatest endings.
He looked off the safety, great, still a coverage bust. Believe it or not most coverage busts result from something similar with the offense confusing them.

Decided an SEC championship ???????

Kick 6 may be second only to Cal/Stanford “The Play.” Kick 6 will forever be a top 3 finish in college football.
Agreed. It's hands down the #1 play off all time when you take into account that it was #1 vs. #4 with an Iron Bowl Trophy, a Division Championship, a likely SEC Championship, and a trip to the National Title game all on the line. All of that and then you throw in one of the most unlikely, unthinkable 100-yard+ long plays to be the deciding play with no time on the clock, and its impossible it will ever be surpassed as the greatest play of all time.
Congrats to Auburn. They'll have that one to watch back for the next 100 years + (if the game lasts that long which is unlikely)

Apparently beating your biggest rival and winning a SEC championship along with a trip to the title game means nothing.
College football would be dead if everyone starts thinking it's National Championship or bust. This isn't the NFL.

Of course I understand I’m biased towards Bama but it don’t matter who the teams are, I’m picking a epic walk off Natty over a epic walk off rivalry game every time. Right?
I can think of quite a few Walk-Off National Title Games.
2017 Alabama TD pass to beat Georgia
2016 Clemson TD pass to beat Alabama
2010 Auburn FG to beat Oregon
2005 Texas TD to beat USC
That's four of the past 13 National Title Games. That's not that rare.

2016 Clemson and 2005 Texas were not walkoffs
That’s like saying the RedSox had a walkoff strike out to win the World Series

Last year’s NC game was one of the greatest games I’ve ever seen.
The 2013 Iron Bowl is, objectively, arguably the greatest college football game ever played.

It obviously doesn’t mean nothing, but it doesn’t mean as much as a National Championship.

Well it all depends on one’s perspective. Hated kick six, loved 2nd and 26. For any Bama hater, they are going to pick the kick six. It’s really not complicated.

Natty.
Arguably the worst sack in the history of college football, immediately followed by arguably the greatest pass in the history of college football. No other national championship has ever been decided by a walk-off 40+ yard TD pass.

It was impossible, until the impossible happened last year during the National Championship.

Objectively, it's 2nd and 26. Other posters are blinded by their hatred of Alabama and Saban.
