That team accomplished so much that no other team will ever accomplished in the history of the game now or in the future. And this is why they are the greatest team of all time!

As a collection of players - these guys HAD to be a great team...

Because with that guy coaching and you STILL win it all?

Impressive.

2001 Miami Hurricanes.

42.6 points per game; 9.75 points allowed per game.
38 draft picks.
That team was ridiculous.

Only beat VT by 2, and BC by 9 while playing an easy schedule.

Draft picks don't mean anything.

A lot of the mystique from that team was because Florida shite the bed so bad . Everybody was screaming steroids, they were so dominant. However, back in 95 I honestly believed they were the best I ever saw until 2019 LSU.

Still the best I've seen in my lifetime. Florida was a force at the height of Spurrier and Nebraska made them look like TCU two years ago.

2019 LSU was good...I do think 2020 Alabama was a tad better. I'd put both ahead of the Larry Coker 2001 Miami team even with that team's level of NFL talent. It's all just opinion at the end of the day.

2019 Louisiana State Tigers was the greatest team of all time.

Obviously though, outside of a static and one year picture of a team, we're all chasing Bama in the modern cfb era.

Well, I don't think steroids were new, but people say their S&C program changed a lot of things. I guess once everyone caught up to them, they lost that advantage.

Played in stadiums with no crowds and many good players on opposing teams weren’t playing that year.

Y'all are homers if you can't be objective enough to realize the 2005 national championship is widely considered to be one of the top championship games ever.

It's the cfp version of this fight:

Greatest boxing round ever

1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers

- Averaged over 53 points per game on offense while allowing just over 14 points per game on defense.

- Defeated four teams that finished in the AP Top 10 by an average score of 49-18.

- Their closest game was a 14 point win over Washington State; their next closest was a 23 point win over #7 Colorado.

- They defeated #2 Florida in the 1996 Fiesta Bowl by the score of 62-24 to win the national championship. Florida had likewise been dominant that year, with their closest games being 11 point victories over #7 Auburn and #6 Florida State.

Nebraska has had three periods of time where they were the best program... All lasted roughly 3-5 years before other programs started copying them.

Circa 1970 when they were the only team with an organized strength program.

Early 1980s when they were the only team using steroids en masse.

The early to mid 1990s Nebraska was the only team using Creatine supplements. This culminated in the 1995 team...

Boyd Epley was their long time strength coach and the guy was a genius.

Either them or the 1905 University of Chicago Maroons.

The 1905 Chicago Maroons had zero black players on their team due to Chicago being a universal hotbed of racial strife and a city filled with bigots and neanderthals.

Any team without a black on it is illegitimate because that is when football started, when blacks were allowed to play.
