Larry Coker has a national championship (and damn near won a second), and these hall-of-famers don't have a single one. College football for ya.

I personally would go with Bo Schembechler due to longevity and consistency.

No one did. But Sonny Dykes had them at 10 wins last year. The most wins since the pony express years.

Bobby Petrino. I don't give a fudge what anyone says. He blew out some of Spurrier's best teams at Carolina. I think he would've eventually won a natty if he could've controlled his dinky.
Petrino was a brilliant, innovative offensive mind. If he could have kept his pecker in his pants, he could have gotten a big boy job with a chance to prove he could win a national title.

No coach in the history of sports has ever been hired into a better situation than Coker was.
"Congrats on getting the job, Larry. Here's a roster with 20 pro bowlers. Don't wreck the Ferrari."

Petrino was never going to win anything significant, he is just a train wreck waiting to happen. If the motorcycle scandal didn't happen, he would eventually be fired.
