Hey Pandy....I just take whatever opportunities I can to trash talk Y’all.

Things won't get interesting until whiteboots is fired at the end of the season and kiffin comes on board.

Here's a concept alabama fans will struggle with. Lane Kiffin beating nick saban.

I agree, but I’m gonna wait till the end of the season.

Most likely it was a bad hire, but we have all hired bad HC’s.

Herman was never coming here, and we messed up the Jimbo thing.

Jimbo might not have been the answer anyway.

We will find out soon enough.

When has Bama had a QB that “elevated the team”?

Yeah he wasn't bad but when do these grad transfer quarterbacks elevate a team or in the case of jake coker, simply keep a team stable? Honestly, other than russell wilson and jake coker, i can't think of one

So Jake Coker was successful because he kept Bama stable, yet someone just mentioned Etling who kept LSU stable and you say you "can't think of one." Everyone sees what you're trying to do. You're not acknowledging anyone's responses and just pushing you're opinion that it doesn't work unless it's a Bama player or Russell Wilson. Lol frick off.

That’s because you are stupid

Everett Golson
Greg Paulus
Clint Tricket
Garrett Gilbert
Tyler Murphy
Ben Mauk
Russell Wilson
Those are just the recent Qb’s of the past decade off the top of my head. If you look back further you will see greater success than failure

Fine i'll say it this way.

Danny etling was not a game changer at all. He didn't elevate his team. He wasn't clutch and if he had a "wow" moment, i can't think of it.

If you want to put a finer point on it, ok.

I guess he had "value" in this sense, he kept lsu out of the red but if danny etling is what folks can expect from a grad transfer quarterback, other than keeping lsu above .500, then no there's no value.

Burrow is more talented than Etling. He's going to surprise a lot of people this year.

Grad transfer quarterbacks

When do they ever work out? Really?

This was the exact narrative towards JUCO QBs on this board heading into the 2010 season.

"They never work out in the SEC. SEC defenses too good. Cam Newton = Brent Schaeffer 2.0"

My thoughts? Maybe he's a quarterback but more than likely, you recruited a tight end.

My thoughts are that LSU keeps you up late at night . You have come off so scared in this thread that there is no turning back now. You continue to triple down on your idiotic thoughts, but you only dig yourself deeper. It’s Saturday night maybe you can sneak some of your dads whiskey when he isn’t looking. Hope you can do something to ease the pain that you obviously have.

Other than russell wilson and jake coker, can you think of one single grad transfer quarterback that has met at least one of those expectations or something like it?

So your question is how many grad transfers have won a conference title, national title, or made the playoffs? How many QBs period have done that? If you’re asking how many grad transfers have been successful, then the answer is plenty

As a rule, these grad transfer QB's just don't seem to accomplish a whole lot. That's all.

As a rule, based on what your definition of “accomplishments” are, very few QBs at all accomplish a whole lot. Groundbreaking news that not many QBs win national titles

Not sure if he’s been mentioned yet, but that kid from Eastern Washington who transferred to Oregon was pretty solid.

I disagree with the OP's conclusion, though I think I understand how he stumbled there. But I can't get over the "scared" charge given by some as the motivation. I've posted previously how LSU was Bama's only real consistent competition from 08-15, how they could have won every game but 21-0, even the 38-17 was misleading. I like LSU as much as one can like a top rival, but since late Miles and now O, there is no fear at all. LSU can certainly get back up with the right guy, but he's not there now. There simply are no Bama fans who fear LSU now. I for one miss it - there's only a little magic left for old times' sake.

I know some are only "kinda kidding", but there are more that have somehow convinced themselves. But hey, we're just goofing around until the season starts.
