You've got about 4 posts in a thread about Mullen about McElwain.

and yet, you're the guy that first mentioned McElwain in this thread about giving props to Mullen.

Go figure.

On this board, gator fans were sure about Muschamp and McElwain.

Easier to get to the top in the east than the west. Smart move.

Cant avoid Alabama and the west if he wants to get to the CFP.

I guess he can be the Les Miles (minus natty) for Florida.

And I'm right.

Straws doubled down and said he was in on Mcelwain. McElwain isn't welcome back at UF. The guy was fired flat.

Let's look at how many fanbases would welcome Grantham back?

His defenses are very aggressive. They've been great against the pass. Where they lack is against physical running teams. See the Kentucky game.

We were down several players that mattered in the run game vs. UK.

That probably doesn't matter to you though.

And yet Kirby doesn't have a winning record against him.

Look, if you have a shite argument and you need to revert to last year to make a point you might need to readjust your position.

Georgia fans are the most braindead to argue against.

Kentucky Game: new defense, missing our top LB and CeCe, lost our best cover corner mid-game and replaced him with a true freshman, entire Florida team is new.

But let's only outline that game and not LSU or MSST who both got shut down.

Grantham didnt miss what, 20 tackles??

As a DC all you can do is put the numbers around the ball. THEY have to make the play

Neither I'd a very good offense this year.

You can suck Grantham off all you want. His defenses have been run all over by any and everyone with a good running game since he was DC at Georgia. Believe it or don't. I don't give a frick. Georgia ran all over him at Louisville and again last season. It'll happen again this year. Just don't say you weren't warned.

I will admit when I am wrong. I thought he would be successful at Florida but I thought it would take several years to get the program back to what it was. He has done a great job already. I thought they would win 4-5 games this year , now they are headed to 8-9 or more wins. Tremendous job by him and his staff.

Coaches evolve. Grantham did an incredible job at State and a good job at Louisville. He seems to not be as stubborn now. Him celebrating on the sidelines post game was pretty fun to watch. His defense has done it's job now that he has the front seven back and healthy. He is masking our very vineranle secondary too.

My argument is that Grantham is very, very, very, flawed.

Where did I bring up last year?

If you want to argue against Grantham's flaws, go for it.

You obviously don't take that approach regarding improvement with Muschamp.
You don't take that approach with McElwain because you wanted him fired (could he not improve?).

Mullen will run the east sooner than people think. Mullen doesn't need recruiting classes to be as lauded as UGA's classes to win that division.
