Jimbo and Dan both are at programs which have no limits as to how good they can be. The talent they bring in is the only limiting factor. Both fan bases expect to win and will make sure the coaches have the support necessary to get it done.

SEC West is going to be a hard place to live.

We have a top 10-scoring defense right now.

Literally, as in we've given up 15 points a game. I don't think that will change all that much, and it just gives me endless pleasure how badly you want Grantham to fail.

His defenses have won us these games after giving up over 10 points more than the average last year.

I don't know how UGA can go 23 - 2 and still have teeny tiny baby dicks about other teams to have to say "BOOKMARKED SNERK". I know you guys haven't won shite so you don't know how to handle it but get a hold of yourself.

I like grantham. I like the style of defense that he calls.

I know it's vulnerabilities. It is fun and exciting until you face a QB who can stretch the field.

Enjoy him. He's yours.

Just wait until his defense looks like a Chinese fire drill during pre-snap trying to get lined up......

I like high risk defenses with spread offenses.

We're #2 in the country in turnovers. I literally have nothing bad to say about our defense over the past 4 weeks.

On this board, gator fans were sure about Muschamp and McElwain.

McElwain won his division (you know. The same division UGA is in) 2 of his 3 years at UF.

Muschamp had a good season as well.

The fans were certain about them.

And they didn't last long. And they aren't thought of very well on message boards today.

b.s. Muschamp never won the division and I don't know a single UF fan that said he would win big. I mean, he had never been a head coach anyway.

You new here?

I think he won a sugar bowl and had a top 5 national finish.

Trust me. I heard about it.

Bro, we hated Muschamp. If you want to die on this hill go ahead, but I absolutely loathed Muschamp.

I was okay with McElwain, he was 1 - 1 against Kirby and had two near ten win seasons back to back. (One was due to a game being cancelled that we had 9.)

Mullen is better than both of them, period. We haven't had a team this balanced in a while -- just wait until he has his own QB.

Thanks delta. We aren't back by any means but it's nice to see the defense get back to being decent and to see offense that isn't offensive.

Try to spin it all you want to but McElwain was 2 for 3 vs UGA and represented the east division 2 of those years. UF has won 3 of the last 4 vs UGA, and 19 of the 26 games since the conference split into divisions. UF has also been to the title game more than any other team, including Alabama, though UA has won more. A lot of you UGA fans are just paranoid about UF.

If you guys were to get Hurts, I think you'd win the East next year.

That's great. I'm only telling you what I've seen from his time as our DC. He was awful.

McElwain coached at Alabama. Helped us win a couple of national titles. Yeah. I like the guy pretty good.

Yeah. You've got about 4 posts in a thread about Mullen about McElwain.

You've got issues.

Easier to get to the top in the east than the west. Smart move.
