His team's doing pretty well, sitting at 5-2, considering what he inherited from the caveman orgeron. The offense is improving and the defense can get some stops.
If LSU finishes with 8 or 9 wins, that's an accomplishment. They can only look to improve in the following years.
But yeah, they'll most likely lose to Alabama and Ole Miss. It is what it is.

He will win a natty by year 4! He’s too good of a coach and with LSUs talent he will succeed

I'm not saying he won't win a Natty in 4 years, but I am saying if he does it's because he has a roster so talented any coach would win a Natty.

That’s not an accomplishment for a program like LSU and 100 mil HC.

It is an accomplishment for a team that had 40-something players for last year's bowl game. Kelly had to get tons of players out of the portal and somehow has managed to put together a competitive team.

He is a good coach for sure. And beating Ole Miss is likely. We would have a chance at home. But not down there. But the heck with it....I am going. Lots of driving for an old guy. Going to be fun for sure.

Dude we had 39 scholarship players a few months ago and 4 of our best players are true freshman. We are sitting at 5-2 with the worst special teams I’ve ever seen (could very well be 6-1). We will see how this year ends up but what he’s done so far is amazing.
