The question is, can OSU stay this hot? It’s hard to do. UT is due a good game. I still don’t completely trust Will Howard. I think it will be close, or maybe I’m just hoping it’s close.

I think Texas wins. Not because they are better but gambling destiny points that way. Everytime it's a sure thing it's not. When OSU played Tenn they were walking on their lips because they lost to Michigan. Heard how their heart wasn't in it. Then already lost to Oregon and played their A game already. Another surprise. Texas looks average, Ewers looks average and referee aided ASU game makes Texas look like they can't run with the Buckeyes. This is why I believe the Longhorns will win, because they shouldn't.

I think like this all the time. How often does a line that seems like a no brainer pan out that way this late in the season?

There was a similar thread about Georgia rolling Notre Dame.

Ohio State has way more weapons on offense than Georgia.

It's not a feeling, you should take it to the bank.

OSU favored by 6 points,,,,,,, starting to feel like the bandwagon effect has overhyped osu…….

Have to admit osu got more out of the Kansas State QB than i expected,

I have the feeling that texasss may surprise us all tommorrow……

2 down and 2 to go. Oregon got exposed on the backside. I can't think of better DBs to match up with Mr. Smith than the shorthorns. Life is about to get a lot harder for Ryan Day.

. Even if Texas comes out ready to play and is relishing the underdog mentality, OSU is at another level.

You are an LSU fan. Think back to your 2019 undefeated season. You guys had one of the best teams of all-time. Still, how often did that LSU team play its A+ game for 3 games in a row and destroy its opponents?

2019 LSU gave up 38 points to a very average Texas team and only won by a TD. You only beat Auburn at home by 3. Bama was a talented team and played LSU close.

Not all that long ago, Ohio State was humiliated at home against Michigan (the same Michigan team Texas dominated in the big house) and they wanted to fire their coach. Nebraska played them very close in Columbus. Ohio State shouldn't have lost their early season match-up against Oregon but did.

Neither team is a lock in this game.

Question is will Texas defense slow them down? Not too sure about that.

It's the best defense they've played all year. Will it slow them down? probably. Will it stop them? No. They're going to score 20+

Ohio State reminds me of 1996 Nebraska who was also unstoppable and a 21-point favorite over Texas in the first Big 12 Championship game. And then this happened: Roll Left

Never say never.

It’s match ups.

When Texas can’t run the ball (Georgia x2, ASU) they get into a weird playcalling that relies on Ewers and he’s a statue.

Ohio State has best front 7 in the country I think, and I just don’t see Texas offensive line changing that when they haven’t really played anyone well who has a pulse on defense

Agree. For Texas to win they’re going to have to become something I haven’t seen really all season, which is an offense that can play 4 quarters. The reason ASU came back is because the defense was gassed, which is because the offense couldn’t sustain drives Igor basically 2.5 quarters.

Michigan #13
Oklahoma #19

Both rank better than ASU and Georgia on YPG

Wait. Surely not?! I mean, we're talking about the same Texas that barely beat Arizona State (due to the officials) and lost to UGA twice?

And yet we are still much better than Missouri.

Texas might win but they aren’t holding OSU to 13 points in any universe
