Ryan Leaf

Russell was at least showed some promise for a bit. Leaf was beyond awful start to finish.

Leaf's contract wasnt even in the same stratosphere as Russell's plus Leaf wasnt the first overall pick

hmmm, Jamarcus started under Saban and had his best year under Miles.

Now that's a group

It's honestly somewhat impressive that those three are some of the least loved former LSU players, yet all three are on the sideline supporting LSU.

which is a basic cultural issue for LSU players in my opinion.

you just can't help yourself can you? I understand you grew up an Alabama fan in a sea of purple and gold in New Orleans, but I don't understand why you feel the need to show your arse in every single thread that pertains to LSU. If you're from New Orleans, you are what you claim to hate. Their "culture" is your culture. The "A' in front of your user name doesn't change that.

Seeing these three together reminds me of what LSU could have been with a disciplined structure ala Saban.

I'd exclude Russell from that statement, LSU fans love him. Dude was amazing here his last season.

Perrilloux and Jefferson had a little more rocky LSU careers to say the least

Ahhh Jordan Jefferson, somehow the only quarterback to beat an Alabama led Nick Saban twice

Also the only qb to not cross the 50 vs same team.

Perrilloux would’ve won a heisman at LSU if he wasn’t a tard. Loved when he ran his packages with Trindon Holliday

I wouldn't, people were very quick to call him a traitor when he donned this

I understand your angst, but I'm pretty sure you do not understand my points. Gangs and armies both have a type of "discipline" and "unity of purpose." But they are fundamentally and organizationally very different in the details.

That difference goes all the way to the core of the individuals, how they act day-to-day and in different situations. Guess which one demands adherence to the small change of the rules, objectives, on and off the field and which one is less concerned with details and more concerned with appearance.

And if you think my "culture" is the same as football players from the River Parishes, you don't know a damn thing about New Orleans. And that is not a criticism of the players from the River Parishes... it is simply an observation... And if you do not know what life is like and what goes on down those little lanes off I-10/12, you may not understand a small but fundamental weakness of LSUs teams the last 15 years... in my humble opinion.
