That's gracious of you. To be totally righteous though, you should acknowledge that not a single poster here ever really wanted LSU out.
The ones that may have lightly insinuated, in a round-about way, that they wanted LSU gone were just joking around.
We are all in this together, brother. Now let's get on with the work of preparing for LA Tech. LA Tech could easily beat LSU if they aren't prepared; they aren't Clemson.

What rules did the break?
They wanted the players on the roster and on the field but did not, even though there was a court order allowing it.
Now compare this to Ole Miss who had a player declared ineligible by the NCAA and also obtained a court order and is now playing.
What rules do you want LSU to abide by and do you want all the other schools to abide by those same rules?

All I'm saying is that LSU fans love to feel aggrieved because it makes them feel like someone, somewhere, cares about them.
Many times they concoct situations out of whole cloth to give them the comforting feeling of being put upon. No one here was actively wishing for LSU to be removed, or even penalized really.

they were never exploited and were never going to be. We just pushed the boundary to get the rules defined in a unique situation but said from the jump that if we weren't allowed to play them then we wouldnt, but if teams were allowed to play these types of players then we weren't going to be at a competitive disadvantage.
the SEC is still gonna get sued civilly for damages and could still be held in contempt of court in the Louisiana TRO ruling. We may not be at DEFCON 2 anymore but this still aint over.

You mean like playing ex professional basketball players in games?
Or like playing an ineligible QB under a TRO?
Or like rostering players that declared for the NFL draft, went undrafted, and subsequently attended rookie minicamps with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns?
I agree LSU should follow the rules just like everybody else does.
