Best Bama poster on this site. It’s a shame you have to have that nasty Falcons logo next to your name

You should send Chip and Malzahn a gift basket, and shouldn't be looking forward to playing a good team in a bowl.
Yall said that last year, then we proceeded to totally shut down Heisman Boy Lamar Jackson and Louisville 29-9 in the Citrus Bowl...........

People are pissed we aren't melting, but we lost to fricking Troy this year. It was nice to even stay competitive last night, let alone play decent.

Still happens every once in a while.

In 1999 we lost to La Tech - then turned around, beat several ranked teams and gave Spurrier two losses (including destroying Florida in the SECCG). Came within a point of beating #8 Michigan.

You can lose to a bad team you should never lose to and still not be a bad team yourself, especially if the score is close.

Class post, George. Alabama is still the king. Really impressed with Hurts. Once he becomes a solid passer ,Alabama will light up the scoreboard.

Wish there were more posters like you.

Hurts was the difference in the game. I thought it was fairly even other than that. My fear is that you have another Hurts on deck with Tua. Meanwhile, we will need a dual threat to beat you guys and our next man up is another pro-style QB.

Solid assessment.

Tigers didn't put enough points on the board and didn't capitalize on their opportunities.

All in all, another frustrating result in the series, but the line play on both sides was a step in the right direction.

Credit to the Tide for making enough plays to win. They were well prepared and tackled extremely well. Left us with a razor thin margin of error. It would have taken perfect execution for us to win.

Why?

Our pocket passer did pretty well against them. One or two dropped passes get caught, this is at least a 24-20 game in the late fourth.

Good OP. LSU played tough.

I’m impressed wirh Bama. LSU did a credible job stopping the run. Bama supposed “weakness” was the passing game and that’s what they probably did best against LSU’s team strength. Good teams win in many ways.

Whipped our asses in the trenches. Canada is a fantastic coordinator. He had a great rhythm and kept you guys in 3rd and manageable all night. O and Company have done a really good job rallying their guys since Troy. I'd be shocked if you don't win out.

Good post and congrats.

Not sure I'd say we whipped your asses in the trenches, but we were competitive. O has done a nice job with this team once he realized he's not Don Coryell and should let his offensive coordinator do his job. We're a few linemen on both sides of the ball and a quarterback away from being a serious threat to beat you once.

Good luck the rest of the way.
