I felt like there were much better candidates they could have gone after.. Whittingham at Utah, Gary Patterson, Dan Mullins, Art Briles- I know but if they can hire Freeze..why not?..maybe Golesh is hire to just build the base back 6-7 win season consistently and give some good future candidates some time to prove themselves.

I think Golesh is all business and that might be just what we need.

Tubs was good until he had some success and then was more concerned with duck hunting than recruiting. Gus was kind of a system guy, but it played well with his conservative ethos at AU. Harsin was a narcissist that never appealed to anyone, and Freeze was a kind of a smarmy preacher man (some people in Auburn eat that shite up In sad to say) that played golf all the time.

I think Golesh is just going about his business irrespective of the Auburn creed or our personality or our history. He’s not sucking up to the donors or working the booster circuit, he’s just working his arse off and holding people accountable. He did a decent job in the portal despite some tough timing, so we’ll see how it goes. Can’t fault the guy’s work ethic though. Dude hasn’t slept since he got there.

Guy with his resume in the league he was in is just a total dart throw. Similar to Sumrall. I don't have a great feeling about it either. Outside of James Franklin and Lane Kiffin, just not sure anyone knows what they're getting with their new coach.

I would chime in, but state has mildly functional retards pretty-much across the board in our administration. Not casting stones.

to be fair, nobody knew what was coming the first time Cam took the field at Jordan-Hare either

hell, no one knew Burrow was capable of his 2019 season even after he’d been at LSU for a year already

Golesh = panic hire

May work out could be a disaster.

by that definition, pretty much every hire these days is a panic hire

Golesh-panic hire

A “panic hire” is a hasty, ill informed decision-the best example of this is Arky hiring Silverfield after their first choice, Golesh, went to Auburn when the job opened up.

I will wear my orange and blue Kosovorotka to the SEC championship game and the playoffs this year.

The band is learning numerous arrangements of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

My comrades and I are ready to conduct a Pogram of the SEC.

From what I understand Florida fans wanted Kiffin, Sumrall, or Golesh with different folks have different priorities, but I think Auburn was more focused on Sumrall early on, but I actually think we may have done better by hiring Golesh.

Hugh fit well in auburn and had buy in from the boosters and we see how that worked out. If he can coach he'll do well. If he can't we'll be back here in 3-4 years

Please capitalize the 'Creed' going forward; this is completely unacceptable for an Auburn Man. Thanks in advance.
