I am not a southerner, but I am rooting for Ole Miss to win. Better for the SEC to keep winning on the national stage. And would be a cool storyline to see OM win the year after MSU. Would be huge for state of Mississippi overall.

I would pick Ole Miss over Oklahoma if it was my choice to make.

I wouldn't root for them if they were a rival, unless they were playing another rival. So I hope you don't expect State to root for them. Bama wouldn't if it were Auburn or Tennessee.
