Well lets take a look at this

Last time MSTate and Arky won the SEC Regular Season and Tournament Championship

Arky Regular Season 1994......Tournament 2000

MState Regular Season 2004....Tournament 2009

What is that I hear....crickets? hogs? whispering....
so neither of us have been relevant for quite some time. State 9 years back and counting....Arky 18 years and counting....

I just wiki'ed Mike to see- because I'm thinking at least last season we didn't really have the road woes??. Anyway, I noticed one of his daughters is named Yvonne, undoubtedly in honor of Nolan's deceased daughter.

In the last 3 years he has been to the NCAA tournament as many times as LSU has in the last 10.

You think a guy averaging 12 and 5 is the most talented Arkansas player ever?? What the hell. Put down the koolaid bruh he's not even projected as a draft pick right now.

Yep

ETA: Here, check out this highlight video of the Fresno State game and watch this freshman completely take the game over with 6 consecutive dunks and two blocked shots. LINK

The reason Gafford's numbers aren't higher is because he plays in an Arkansas system. Arkansas doesn't run its offense through any one player. There has been at least two games so far this year where the team had 25+ assists. That's a huge number. And they have about 5 or 6 players that score in double figures every night.

Gafford is supremely talented.

Gafford is a nice looking player but I am gonna stick with Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman as best Razorbacks in the last 25 years.

I am glad Arkansas fans are excited for our game. Howland has put together a nice team already. We really haven't been tested yet thanks to Howland's shitty scheduling and have been shooting awful all season from outside. Our defense is greatly improved though so if we ever start making our shots we will be a difficult win for anyone. State has about 4-5 borderline NBA players. We have zero seniors too so we are still incredibly young. Last year MSU was the youngest team in the entire country.

Not even close, Corliss and Scotty were on much more talented teams but Joe Johnson is easily the most talented player that we have had in the last 25 years. I would actually put Todd Day, Lee Mayberry, Patrick Beverly, Ronnie Brewer, and possibly Bobby Portis as more talented than Scotty Thurman in the last 25ish years.

Fun Fact - MSU and Arkansas have played 50 times since Arkansas joined the SEC. Arkansas leads the series 26-24.

If we can't beat Arkansas in Starkville, we should just close down the program.
