SIAP. Dude just did his presser and threw his own, handpicked OC under the bus. Then a REPORTER suggested having Ensminger get back in the box to help out (read: babysit) and O said, "Maybe I'll do that. That's a good idea."
ETA: I've come up with a comparison. LSU football has become the sports version of VEEP.

Maybe he meant throwing his body into the defense to block for the running backs?
Cause that’s probably all Max could’ve done to help more with the actual problem on Saturday.

This kinda reminds me of when the caller to his show suggested that Brennan wear a headset to hear the conversation between Burrow and Ensminger/Brady. He said it was a good idea and the next game there was Brennan with a headset on.
