If it wasn’t for Football, UGAy would be irrelevant in its own state, ranked behind Emory and GA Tech in academics and they really only have some success in Football and Swimming when it comes to athletics. Finally, UGA’s most recent notable achievement happened when GA Tech alumnus Jimmy Carter was U.S. president in 1980. This is pretty much a summary of all of UGA’s achievements since 1785.
