Had those OU teams faced 3 teams after the first of December ranked in the top 5 in neutral sit games in their 40 something win streak it’s doubtful they’d have not lost once or twice.

This is like the Dallas cowboys bragging about the yards romo put up in the regular season and to never win a post session game. Regular season titles mean nothing.

Although they are different in how they did it, who they played and what Division they were in, still we should give each one credit and recognition.

Oklahoma won 47 straight games from the third game of 1953 through the 7th game in 1957.
In ‘53 they beat #s 15 and 1. No one else they beat in ‘53 was ranked.
In ‘54 they beat #s 10, 12 and 15. No one else was ranked. They only played 10 games (no bowl game?)
In 55 they beat #3,10 and 12. Played 11 games. No one else was ranked.
In 56 they beat no ranked teams and played 10 games and no bowl game (?)
In ‘57 they played #8 and 19.
In 2020 UGA Beat 4 teams after losing to UF. One of those 4 was ranked #6.
In 21 UGA played 15 games, won 14 and played #s 1,2,8,11 and 18
In 22 UGA played 15 games, won 15 and beat #s 3,4,10,11 and 12
In 23 UGA played 14 games and beat # #4,10,14,20 and 21
Finally UGA just beat #14.
The level of teams UGA has beaten in the current win “streak” is infinitely better than what Oklahoma beat and UGA has played almost 50% more games per season that OU did. UGA has played almost 15% more games over that period in the regular season than OU played including the post season.
There really is no comparison. OU played far fewer games per season and did so against far less quality opponents. UGAs current “streak” is categorically as impressive if not more so.

UGA doesn't have a streak, you have multiple post season losses.
