Then trolled Lsu by causing an Auburn level nose dive just months after a NC.

So, Georgia gave LSU the title, just so we would tank later?

Thanks

bama fans also cower away when you mention that despoite getting hurt in the first half, jameson still played more snaps in the game than pickens did. They love to gloss over that fact.

Thats the same for the 2017 SECCG.
Auburn fans complain about Kerryon Johnson being hurt. He got more snaps and carries than any UGA back.

can’t tell you how much I love this excuse after the complete dismissal of Colt McCoy’s injury in Bama’s first national championship.

There's kinda a big difference between that game and the Bama/Georgia game last year.

The difference is that we saw what would happen when Alabama had the receivers to take the top off of Georgia's defense in the SEC Championship Game. Alabama whipped that arse when they had that ability.

There is no evidence whatsoever that a Colt McCoy lead Texas team would have beaten Alabama.

That’s not exactly the way it went. Just like the national championship, a couple plays changed the game and either team could have won either game otherwise.

Has a 4th quarter lead: "if only our offensive stars were there, we could've held on!"

IF ONLY METCHIE WAS ON THE FIELD HE WOULDVE CAUGHT THIS INCREDIBLY UNDERTHROWN BALL!

Bama fans still making excuses after the most bizzare "fumble" call anyone has ever seen

Was Joe burrow playing last year? No then stfu

The thread title is literally "Georgia's 2019 defense".

Burrow made it look so easy that game. Even completed a pass to himself and got yards out of it. That game really cemented the Heisman for him. GOAT.

did you also notice that we played a markedly different game plan that game than we did in any of the other 15 of the year? I think we tried to get too cute playing chess and outsmarted ourselves that game. Instead of doing what we'd done all year, adn what peopel had done to bama all year, we did the exact opposite for whatever reason. We didn't aggressively rusht he pasher and elected instead fo play contain on bryce and we played a lot more zone than we did in any other game. Just as easily as you can say "well we were fully healthy in december" we can also say "we played our normal attacking defense in january" and the restults speak for themselves.

there's also no evidence bama would beat uga in janauary had jameson not been hurt. But speculate away.

Yes it does. He played as well as I have ever seen a college QB play.

Georgia lost their best receiver in the 2017 national championship game vs Bama. Guess that means we would have won that game if Wims didn’t get hurt. Maybe, maybe not. Their is no way to know how a game “would “ have turned out.

Holloman was hurt 2018 and Cager hurt 2019 (along with swift).

But Bama injuries are unique and special to bama fans.

Do we want to go over offensive line shuffling where we are playing Bama with our 4th option at right guard due to injuries?

I'll go even further. Hope from SEC SHORTS really loved UGA this year.

If Okie State scores that last TD, less than one yard away, UGA is sitting home watching Alabama win the National Title.

They didn't have the resume no matter what the Dawg fans want to make everyone believe.

Coming off an asskicking in the conference title game that put doubt in a lot of minds as to how good they were, or were not.

They were not a conference champion and their best win was just in the Top 20.

Everyone else was a Conference champ and had an identical or better record and better wins. The Committee would have been hard pressed to explain for instance why Cincinnati was out and UGA in.

Unbeaten conference champion with a Top Ten win and another one as good as anything UGA had.

You Hairy Dawgs would have hunkered down watching the playoffs on TV or from Bourbon Street. Things all went your way.

That's very true. Injuries are a part of the game, What people fail to note in the Mc Coy game is Greg Mc Elroy played with cracked ribs and could barely throw the ball

Do you think Greg McElroy and Colt McCoy were the same level player in college with the same importance to their team?
