No, leave them in there. I have no problem with people knowing I am human and make mistakes. I also want people to realize that when I am shown to be wrong, I can admit it and try to correct the mistake. ANY time you see me jump the gun, feel free to point it out.

Probably could have popped your cherry with a better comment...

28-7... 12/2/2017... the year of our Kirby. The day that approximately 1/3 of the Auburn fanbase lost their minds completely... and the rest of the fanbases lowest common denominator elected to create alters in their likeness...

Everyone knows OU is not winning by 40..... what gets us wound up is people saying we haven’t faced a defense ever. Tcu may not be as talented as Georgia players but there scheme is proven and play team defense as well as anyone. OU vs the last 5 sec teams we have played have had decent not great numbers on offense. We are not talking about playing some middle level sec team this time around. With that being said Auburn’s defense last year Bama two years ago slowed OU down but obviously didn’t shut them down. Ohio State slowed us down but didn’t stop us. No one is stopping us unless we turn it over and the last 5 games we have had zero turnovers I believe. OU does play better defense vs the sec historically. Obvious reasons why not trying to clown but if you know the run is coming every down doesn’t leave much for imagination. Game imo will be upper 30s winner vs mid 20s loser. You can pick the winner

If you look back in the thread, that's about what many have called for. I figure 38-27 UGA, but could just as easily see that flipped if OU gets out to a fast start and/or turnovers bite us in the arse... SummerofGeorge said it best in that I wouldn't be surprised to see either team win by 2+ TDs... it's a legitimately fun matchup. I'm excited for it.

I think you're coming into a conversation without context here, so missing a bit of the trolling from shitty OU posters and bandwagoners joining them that initiated a lot of the commentary.

Ok. You got me. I exaggerated! but not by much. CharlotteSooner has been trolling us for 2-3 weeks, now.
He is certainly expecting a blowout...or so it seems.

You know it's hard to tell. I mean, playing in a league where there are a lot of high powered offenses can make a really good defense look ordinary. If Georgia or any other SEC team played in the BIG 12, our defenses wouldn't look nearly as good. If TCU played in the SEC they might look better...especially if they played in the East.

Auburn was not nearly as good last year as they are this year. Every facet of their game improved. but again...we will not shut down Oklahoma's offense we don't expect to. We hope to slow it down, and limit your opportunities, but no way we shut it down. Our weakness on defense would probably be pass defense, which is your strength.

Don't bring up Tennessee. They have been a dumpster fire for several years now. They know it and will admit it.

I think it will be higher scoring than that. I think both teams will be in the higher 30's. I won't lie. Oklahoma scares me. Mayfield scares me. I do agree, though. Pick the winner, because I have no idea. This will be Kirby's first really, really big game with time off, so it will be interesting to see how he prepares the team. Same could be said about your coach, too, I think. We think we are still a year or two away from being at our best, though, so whatever happens from here on out is gravy for us.

Gotts go. I'm sorry I came off like a jerk earlier. You are a good guy to discuss football with. I hope to see you again in the next week or so.

TCU held Arky to their lowest points scored for the entire season. Only two defenses that performed against Arky as well as TCU did were Bama and LSU. *whistles*

Now look at it by yards per play. Tcu right in the middle.

I would hope so. It’s football. You want to be able to hit your target. And Hurts is the target of the defense. That sucker always avoids the big hit. His luck will run out sooner or later. You can’t hit these guys high because of concussions. You can’t hit them low without being flagged and labeled a dirty player. Hurts has quite the composite of what the defense for Clemson wants to hammer hard.

Mayfield cant beat you when he is sitting on the bench watching his defense get pounded by a strong run game and he will face a defense loaded with seniors. SEC plays big boy football and de-fense is not a containment barrier for cattle on an Okie dusty ranch.

The last two times an Oklahoma Heisman Winner faced an SEC team, they scored 14 points each.

Well that settles it. We're doomed.

What happened the last two times an SEC defense faced Oklahoma with Baker Mayfield?

Irrelevant.

Oklahoma Heisman winners being shut down by LSU in 2003 and Florida in 2008, however, is.

SEC Fan: The SEC is the greatest, most powerful football conference ever every year, but the Auburn team that OU whipped last season in the Sugar Bowl ain't worth shite despite finishing near the top in the final SEC rankings.

The SEC was mediocre last season.

In a playoff or championship scenario, Oklahoma has scored a combined 28 points vs SEC teams.

You're not playing a team from Alabama or Tennessee this time.

Texas A&M 41, Mobilehoma 13
Florida 24, Mobilehoma 14
LSU 21, Mobilehoma 14

I'm seeing a trend.
