yes but that's because Oklahoma has always destroyed teams from Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, historically speaking..

it has nothing to do with OU playing Georgia in Pasadena. matter of fact, OU lost the last time it played a game in the Rose Bowl vs UCLA.

2005 - OU 24 UCLA 41
2002 - OU 34 Washington St 14 (Rose Bowl)
1990 - OU 34 UCLA 14

The key to this game is our OL play vs their front 7. They will load the box to stop our run just like Auburn did in Jordan-Hare. If they are successful and Fromm can't make up the difference, then we lose. OU with Mayfield at the helm will probably score at least 4 TD's. If we can contain Mayfield (unlikely) and get some turnovers, we should have a chance. When they score, hopefully it happens quickly so our defense doesn't get worn down. When we score, we need to grind the ball down the field and wear out their defense so that by the end of the game we can score when we have to.

Don't count out the possibility of Mayfield going on a post Heisman celebration binger and not being able to show up mentally.

Do you really think anyone wants to hear from 0-8 SEC fan with no coach?

Crawl back into your hole and don't come out again until it's time for UT fans to start on your annual pre-season title again.

I can guarantee you no Alabama fan said that in 2013. That was the worst front 7, especially front 4, of the Saban era. We had just been physically manhandled by Auburn. We finished something like 105th nationally in Sacks Per Game.

And the other 3 you listed (2014 Tennessee, 2015 Tennessee and 2016 Auburn) went a combined 13-11 in SEC play.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Yep, our front 7 are decent but they got owned in Jordan-Hare and they have not seen an like OU's with Mayfield at the helm. If we aren't able to establish a running game and get first downs, this game could easily become a blowout.

No you can't guarantee shite. We heard it from Bama fans repeatedly and your little toadies on ESPN who said you'd roll us. I'm hearing from Bama fans RIGHT NOW TODAY that...

"I think Georgia's front 7 will be the best you've seen this year."

This is just shite SEC fans say every single time they face an OOC opponent. Every. single. time.

Well looking at your schedule it's probably correct. Doesn't necessarily mean a win, but schedule wise outside of OSU it's for the most part pretty soft.

That isn't what you said. You said Alabama folks were proclaiming it the best Front 7. That's very different than expecting to win.

Yea, I expected to win that game by 14 points. I didn't think Trevor Knight was very accurate and I thought we'd score a bunch of points.

I still have no idea what happened to him that night, because it hadn't happened before and sure as hell hasn't happened since, but he was Peyton Manning and whipped us through the air. Tip of the cap to him.

And Oklahoma fans think that they will waltz in and score 50 points and magically be better on defense against Georgia than they were against Kansas State or Baylor against every good OOC opponent.

That's kind of the way lunatic fans operate.

"I think Georgia's front 7 will be the best you've seen this year."

And I'm not sure this is true, because Ohio State's front 4 is magnificent. However, their LBs are not great and Georgia's are fantastic. The problem for Georgia is they are not a great pass rush team and Mayfield is a wizard.

It's going to be a really good game. I'll go with UGA in a close one. OU has an elite offense, but UGA has a far better defense and is more balanced as a team.

The problem for Georgia is that the best scoring offense they've faced this season was Missouri. Everybody else in their division is 68th or worse. Their defense isn't what they think it is, and they're about to find that out.

What did Iowa State do to beat the mighty Sooners? Seriously?

Wait, you guys only beat K-State 42-35?

K-State lost to Vanderbilt....

Wait, you guys only beat a 1-11 Baylor team by 7 points?

Wow

It doesn't stop there, then you lost at HOME to Iowa State?

Iowa State really had a stellar 52nd ranked class in 2017...
