LOL...The only reason you Bammers are any sort of relevant is due to the playoffs being like a welfare state nowadays, and even then it's 50-50 if you squeak in.
If they don't let half the field in anymore you guys are a Beef o Brady bowl caliber team. But don't worry...they'll expand them enough that eventually the Vols woiill get in again.

Then they lucked out with TCU getting in even after they lost the Big 12 title game to Oklahoma state

This is pitiful. Ranting about a team that went 15-0 and capped it off with the largest margin of victory in a bowl game in the 120 year history of bowl games.
Some, not all, Bama fans refuse to let any other program have any shine. It's child-like and bizarre.

We didn’t “luck into” anything, your team was not good enough to get to Atlanta. You lost to two teams whose arse we kicked that year.

Man, playing Georgia that year, they just wore us down in the 4th. The line play was magnificent. I've not seen better lines on either side of the ball since.
With NIL and the portal, might never see lines like that again.

TCU was just out manned and Michigan choked.
Still crazy to believe that is the biggest margin of victory in any bowl game ever.
