He was at California in 2017 (so try to get that right going forward), our receiving options were very strong in 2018 when he was limited, and he was our #3 WR in 2019 despite Fromm missing him deep too often.

Way to avoid the point.
You point to lack of passing attempts as an issue despite 4-5 high 4 and 5* QBs (including the highest rated player ever to commit to UGA) over the last 10 years. UGA generally goes to a bowl game and has had a couple years in that span including trips to the SECCG and a year with a playoff game added. And despite that you claim a lack of passing attempts as why UGA (outside of AJ Green) can’t seem to get much production out of its WRs.
Multiple 4-5* QBs and multiple 4-5* WRs but little to no production. Does UGA need 7*QBs and WRs to see passing production? Butt cut was an O minded coach and Bowl cut is a D coach but the results don’t seem to change.
So it’s both relevant and fair to question why a 4-5* QB would want to go to UGA were they are not going to do QB stuff (forward passes) or why an WR would want to go to UGA to run sprints and block.

Transferred in 2017 because the 2018 UGA WRs all bailed. You are correct. He was injured in the 2017 season. I stand corrected. We can remove 70 yards from his UGA total and add them to his Call totals.

Maybe they want to be drafted? UGA has 7 WRs and 3 QBs (after this draft) who have taken snaps under Kirby who have been drafted in 5 years. Not the best but still better than most.

They should be well rested if nothing else.

But not enough games if the goal is a national championship. I guess winning games and wasting talent is enough for UGA fans. Most folks call that settling.

We're fans. Wtf do you want us to do. Make up some fake allegations just to run Kirby out of town and not have to pay the buyout.

You just hired Josh Heupel..that’s settling.

California 2016 attempted a shite load of passes, which naturally led to a lot of passing yards. It’s a shame you aren’t smart enough to recognize the connection there.

Feels like JR has been there since 2010

UGA since 2004 has has 1 (one) WR with consistent production like Robertson’s freshman year(AJ Green) despite multiple 4-5* QBs and WRs in that time frame and O and D minded Head Coaches. Robertson wasn’t even the top WR on his team. Did UGA just not believe in the forward pass if they didn’t have AJ Green on the team?
Robertson was a known high talent, high production WR but somehow went to UGA and forgot how to play. Even with Monkens “air raid” due still couldn’t find the field. He like many 5* guys that go to UGA made a mistake by going to UGA.

It's so cute you're discussing wasted talent and such. Do you mind if I warm my hands on your dumpster fire?

How did such a boring topic end up being 5 pages?

Because UGA fans refuse to admit Robertson made a mistake going to UGA.

Robertson made a mistake going to UGA. /thread

Almost no teams pass it over 50 times a game like Cal 2016 did, so it’s unreasonable for anyone to expect Cal 2016 stats at uga.
This begs the question, Why are you still always so unreasonable when it comes to uga? All it does it make you look bad by being wrong all the time. Looking bad isn’t a good thing.

Wrong again. Your memory is way too short. He was our #3 in 2019, and that was with a struggling Fromm holding him back, so he clearly didn’t forget how to play.

Highly rated guys like Jermaine burton and George Pickens racked up the yards when JTD started.
Here is an exercise for you:
Multiply those stats over 13-14 games, and blow your mind.

Fact is, He transferred in 2018 when our receiving options were very strong and experienced.

Both were there in 2018 and 2017 and Robertson had significantly less production. And 2020 without Fromm in and needed WRs he disappeared again. Kids a bust, should have stayed out west.
Maybe he’ll have a bust out ‘21 and prove doubters wrong.
