To this point, Rochester has been a recruiting bust, but it never hurts to have a physical package like this around in case it finally goes "boom." A former five-star recruit, the 6-foot-5, 320-pound Rochester has appeared in 51 games since 2016 but has never turned into the force that pundits believed he would become. Injuries have played a factor the past two seasons. Rochester is clearly hoping to stay healthy in 2021 to make a push for a call in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Robertson's odd, winding college journey continues as Georgia receives some good news. The former five-star recruit had 50 catches for 767 yards and a team-best seven touchdowns as a freshman All-American in Sonny Dykes' Air Raid offense at Cal in 2016, but got injured in 2017 and ultimately transferred to Georgia. His career has stagnated ever since. After recording those 50 catches as a true frosh, he's posted 49 combined receptions between 2017-20. Robertson is probably coming back for one last shot to get on the NFL radar. And while JT Daniels is the pocket passer he'd prefer to play with, Georgia is absolutely loaded at wide receiver, led by George Pickens.

I think it's a little harsh for whoever wrote that to call Rochester a bust. He's torn both his ACLs but when healthy the past few years was a solid rotational piece in our defensive line. I actually think the "bust" label applies more to Robertson.

You can never have enough big bodies to rotate on the DL. Rochester coming back is a nice boost.
Anything that Robertson contributes is a bonus at this point. I don't expect much from him.

So neither will ever play on Sundays.

Rochester was playing his way into a late round draft pick last year before tearing his ACL in our injury riddled game against Kentucky. He's got a shot at the pros if he's able to fully heal. He also gives us a true backup at nose tackle behind Davis and allows our other stud DL to play 3 technique.
Don't see Robertson as a pro but we needed him back for depth.

Good players that provide depth. Neither will make or break our season.

The stars are aligning for Georgia next year.

Robertson is a bum
I don't know about that. He wasn't targeted much last year. He have good hands. Its better to have than to have not.

Robinson has been anything but a bust. He has contributed a lot when healthy but two ACL injuries have kept him off the field.
Robertson has good hands and great speed, but is not a great pass blocker, and Kirby's offense requires WRs to be able to block.

Agreed. Can never have too many bodies on the Dline

Robertson isnt a bad receiver at all.
But as has been said, he is a liability as a blocker (not just running game but the screen game as well). That puts a huge damper on his reps. He has come up with some clutch 3rd down catches in obvious passing situations, though.

Robertson is a straight bust for UGA. 5* transfer that had more receiving yards as a freshman than in his next 4 years combined all purpose. When UGA was desperate for WRs Robertson wasn’t even a blip on the radar.

Only because 2019 Fromm couldn’t hit him when he was wide open downfield to save his life.

Robertson was the #3 WR in 2019 and had his best statistical year as a dog....

You aren’t disproving my point at all.
Now add in 3 long tds va Florida, LSU, and Baylor if you want an accurate review of his 2019 season.
My point remains, Fromm kept him from being a bigger impact player in 2019.
