Looks like the official on the baseline is signaling the Georgia player stepped on the line.

That was a bad call.

Just as bad were to two fouls called on LSU in back to back UGA possession with about 45 seconds left and LSU up by 3 points. Twice and UGA player with the ball ran himself into trouble and the ref inexplicably called a foul when the player lost the ball to LSU defenders.

But, the kid was at least 6 inches away from the line in bounds if not more.

The spin move while pushing off and losing the ball foul was mind boggling.

I agree. I'm just saying that's what it looks like the official is saying.

I think everybody is focusing on the right foot which was easily in bounds like you say.

It's obvious to me the ref saw the left foot swipe over the line. It happens very quickly.

It's certainly possible after blowing up the gif. At the very least it would need to be reviewed in slow motion to determine if the foot touched the floor. Good eye.

True dat but those calls aren’t reviewable. This was an easy call that should have been reversed. LSU still may have won the game but we’re talking 15 seconds left in o.t. SEC office needs to make sure this doesn’t happen again. No excuse for this type of play to NOT be reviewed especially w game on the line in o.t. Georgia definitely got hosed. We all can/should agree on that. Georgia coach should have called time out when he saw the call was not going to be reversed. Is what it is. Definitely will go down as worst call of the day. I’m sure there will be more bad calls next game. LOL

I think the game showed a couple of things for sure. 1.georgia is better then where they were picked pre season.2. Cam thomas scoring 26 points while only making 1 3pointer and missing 8 ,shows how good of a scorer he is as a Freshman. Hes avg like 27 points a game. He will go for 45 this year.

Oh yeah, and it shows that both teams have a ways to go defensively if they want to make a run for the sec championship

Don't care

Point is, being robbed of a possession isn't on the same level as having your opponent gifted 4 trips to the FT line.

Someone’s got some explaining to do....

I think because the ref blew the whistle before UGA's player ever bounced the ball off of the LSU player because he thought he was out of bounds. Terrible call. But there were two really bad ones right before that in OT on LSU where UGA turned it over and the announcers were saying they didn't see anything (even the woman announcer was questioning the calls). But UGA had their chance at the end and blew it. UGA played well though.

Was the right call. Still won the game regardless.
