It's in the conversation. Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas are not.

Lucky for you that Texas is not in “the south”.

Texas is Texas.

So the qualifications for a great city include having as many trees as possible, having hills, and having little concrete....... lmao!

Hahaha, this dude is so triggered by Houston.

It’s ok man, bojangles and Chick-fil-A’s are pretty good too.

I have lived in Jax for 15 years. Would never consider a southern state except for geography. Try again

And all of the other things I mentioned. Is Texas the home of the civil rights movement? No. Does Texas have Augusta National? No.

Better than Florida ? I prefer the mountains of AL, GA, TN over the beaches in Florida, but I doubt that makes the criteria. Georgia is on par with Alabama, minus Atlanta. And Atlanta is just a sterile city (like Dallas), with no inner city character. What pushes Atlanta (and thus GA) in these type polls is, people consider it the "Black Mecca".

The Trust for Public Land indicated that of the nation's 10 most populous cities, none had more total park space than Houston with 56,405 acres. Houston 's 27.2 acres per 1,000 residents ranks second only to San Diego with 35.6 acres per 1,000 residents

Is that it? The Civil Rights movement and Augusta National Golf Course are pretty awesome things. Not to mention all of the other things I mentioned in my original post.

Augusta might as well be South Carolina. Even the baseball team plays in South Carolina. When we leave the union again we will take Augusta with us. You can keep Savannah
