If Georgia somehow doesn’t beat Alabama this year, the Georgia fanbase will be on the warpath looking to take some scalps.

The SEC East isn't a thing anymore so you don't get to hide out in your division beating the same ol' dysfunctional slapdicks every year on your way to the CCG.

Georgia has been up and down, where Bama in its prime did not wax and wane like Georgia has the last few years despite being #1. Saban fielded defenses that intimated opponents, Georgia has yet to do this as of yet.

Georgia has lost 2 games in 3 years and has set the standard nationally on the defensive side of the ball in that time frame.

I think a lot of you underestimate your team’s own slapdick-ness.

I really don't think anyone will be dominating any longer except the NIL's and Transfer Portal

2019, but maybe you knew that. Smart never beat the GOAT for the SEC conference championship. Never. And never will.

I presumed Auburn or LSU fans were the most ecstatic at Saban leaving, but I'm leaning towards Georgia fans being the ones who are breathing a collective sigh of relief.

If you can't beat 'em, wait 'em out.

The ol' Bulldog motto.

Please stop with this hoopla.
Our team for next season is looking good and our future is bright but there is no need for this excessive fanfare.

I'll take 3 in 4 years over a 3-peat. Sounds almost just as good.

Maybe not, but that’s irrational for everyone but Alabama. No one else has beaten Georgia since coaches were wearing masks on the sidelines, and only a few have been remotely competitive.

While in no way Georgia's fault, I would have loved to see them and FSU play at full potential in that bowl game.

Kirby did better than that. He beat Saban for the NC.
Also, in Saban's last 3 seasons, Alabama won ZERO natties. But Georgia won 2 during that time. That fact will ALWAYS bother you.
Even Tom Osborne, who Saban never could beat, managed to win the NC in 2 of his last 3 seasons.

12-team playoff makes it harder for any single team to dominate than in the 4-team era because you’re gonna have to beat at least three good teams in a row to win the ship. Expansion from 2 to 4 teams already reduced SEC dominance and expanded playoffs will further diminish the value of SEC SOS.
