The beauty of CFB is the insanely small sample size. A team could only win 1/1000 games but if they happen to roll that 1 they get the claim. Lesser teams beat better teams regularly.

We beat Georgia by 20, U beat LSU by 9 more points. So with that brainless logic , LSU fans can claim we are better than bama, which they clearly are not. That's why we play the game.

That said, we are finding our stride. Would be a different game. Not saying we would win but like the second AU game last year.....I like our chances.

Bama kicked our butts because they beat the crap out of our offensive line....notice Georgia didn't do that. Think about it...offense sucks because of line being dominated. I would say that if LSU had beat your offensive line like y'all did ours, that big, bad offense would have done nothing. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LINES ON BOTH SIDES....that's why y'all have been so good.

Its all about matchups. Jake Fromm didnt match up with our secondary and their lines didn’t match up with ours. We ran the ball on Georgia and played great defense.
Our OL doesn’t match up with Bama’s DL and that was evident when you have 3 down lineman beating 5 OL and a RB. Embarrassing play from our OL last night. Q. Williams will be in their nightmares for years to come.

They’re about the same. LSU is better on defense, and UGA is better on offense and special teams.

To be fair, Kirby has fared much better in neutral site/home games than he has in big road games. See losing 40-17 to Auburn in Jordan-Hare and then beating Auburn 28-7 in the SEC Championship Game.

Ever consider UGA just isn’t as great as everyone made them out to be? LSU was the better team. UGA’s formula is fairly simple. Stop their run game and make them pass. It’s a tall order for about everyone on UGAs schedule. Especially in their division.
UGAs defense is also not as good as last year after losing all that experience and talent. So add it up and it’s pretty easy to explain why LSU is better than UGA.
