A tip of the cap to Texas. They obviously understood our offensive scheme and played defense against it to perfection.

LSU must PROTECT THE BALL, hit free throws, and make better decisions on the court (some got away from the team game and tried to make things happen themselves). Several times we saw terrible shot selection or passing decisions (they overplayed us but we shot a 25 foot jumper instead of us back dooring them). It was a lesson...SC will do the same on the defensive end. We must play smart on offense and be aggressive on defense. :usa: :usa: :usa:

I have always liked watching the women play (since the 60's). The reason , I think, is I personally like women that are athletic and passionate. I like to see confident, independent women show passion in whatever they do. I 'm attracted to highly intelligent women with passion and a drive to succeed (most men are afraid of these type women). The women are not as physically gifted as men but the passion and competitiveness in the elite athletes is the same. :usa: :usa:
Ran across this related to LSU Women's basketball recruiting...thought it was interesting. Anyone know anything about her?

The reality that they still keep winning?

2021-2022 26-6 (13-3), 2nd in the SEC, NCAA 2nd Round
2022-2023 34-2 (15-1), 2nd in the SEC, National Champions
2023-2024 31-6 (13-3), 2nd in the SEC, Elite Eight
2024-2025 31-6 (12-4), 3rd in the SEC, Elite Eight

Some people just want to complain about something, I guess.

LSU is very capable of winning the National Championship this year. Because of the great depth on the team, the key will be hitting our free throws in the close games. We have the talent and depth...just hit the free throws. :spank: :spank: :spank: :usa: :usa: :usa:

Okay....Based on what you stated, I interpreted you to say the contract is signed and they (LSU) are letting LK decide when to announce. :usa: :usa: :usa: :usa:
I agree Koval is a good addition based on the film I just saw. Hope Smith returns...she really had just started to show her old self.
It'll help eliminate the anti-gay thing.
I remember seeing him on TV (Back then you didn't see many NBA games on TV.). He was a tremendous power forward that had a great jump shot and was very, very good at rebounding (very physical). Loved his game. :usa: :usa: :usa:
Many years ago, LSU had an Australian connection.
No one has mentioned Kent. Based on what I've seen, she's very athletic but needs to work on being more under control. Didn't see enough to know her shooting skills.

On a side note, the girl that played center for Iowa really improved a lot from last year.
I have followed women's basketball for a long time...more so now. The guy in this video hits what's really going on perfectly. It's a must see!!! LINK

Listen to the first few minutes if you think it's too long.

I listen to most of what Sharpe said and I totally disagree with his take.

I get so tired of the misquotes, biases, and completely false information the media consistently reports to the masses. When I was young, I used to think the information was accurate but in my early 20's I realized (from first hand knowledge) that wasn't the case. It's to the point I usually don't watch the news networks, nor believe the propaganda fed by the government to the various outlets. If the news media stated enough that Einstein was stupid the masses would believe that (look at Germany and Japan keeping their people blind to what happen in WW2).

The South Carolina coach is covering her team's arse not because she's a saint but to protect her recruiting.
Come on guys. HVL wants to go to the next level...must be a point guard because of height...she's a work in progress...will get better. I'm always sad to see the Chicken Littles on here. Don't be our worst enemy ... the great civilizations all collapsed from within. (Side Note: USA is doing it now.)

The biggest issue we have is that in close games the point guard becomes the deciding factor. For example, when Morris ran the point she controlled the ball at the end of close games. She would penetrate the paint and either get fouled or pass to the open player...Think about the difference in the game last night. If we are going to win it all this year, we need to be able to finish close games...we've already lost twice because we don't have that "go to" player yet.
That girl is very good looking.

As a competitor, you hate to lose like what happened on Sunday. Personally, I not only wanted to win but to kick their teeth in like they did us. I, to this day...like many of my teammates, still can't believe the high school team I played on lost in the Florida Regionals (5A at the time) to an inferior team that was completely dominated. Athletes remember events Good or Bad for the rest of their lives. You want to win and get revenge. :usa: :usa:
