I agree Koval is a good addition based on the film I just saw. Hope Smith returns...she really had just started to show her old self.
It'll help eliminate the anti-gay thing.
I remember seeing him on TV (Back then you didn't see many NBA games on TV.). He was a tremendous power forward that had a great jump shot and was very, very good at rebounding (very physical). Loved his game. :usa: :usa: :usa:
Many years ago, LSU had an Australian connection.
No one has mentioned Kent. Based on what I've seen, she's very athletic but needs to work on being more under control. Didn't see enough to know her shooting skills.

On a side note, the girl that played center for Iowa really improved a lot from last year.
I have followed women's basketball for a long time...more so now. The guy in this video hits what's really going on perfectly. It's a must see!!! LINK

Listen to the first few minutes if you think it's too long.

I listen to most of what Sharpe said and I totally disagree with his take.

I get so tired of the misquotes, biases, and completely false information the media consistently reports to the masses. When I was young, I used to think the information was accurate but in my early 20's I realized (from first hand knowledge) that wasn't the case. It's to the point I usually don't watch the news networks, nor believe the propaganda fed by the government to the various outlets. If the news media stated enough that Einstein was stupid the masses would believe that (look at Germany and Japan keeping their people blind to what happen in WW2).

The South Carolina coach is covering her team's arse not because she's a saint but to protect her recruiting.
Come on guys. HVL wants to go to the next level...must be a point guard because of height...she's a work in progress...will get better. I'm always sad to see the Chicken Littles on here. Don't be our worst enemy ... the great civilizations all collapsed from within. (Side Note: USA is doing it now.)

The biggest issue we have is that in close games the point guard becomes the deciding factor. For example, when Morris ran the point she controlled the ball at the end of close games. She would penetrate the paint and either get fouled or pass to the open player...Think about the difference in the game last night. If we are going to win it all this year, we need to be able to finish close games...we've already lost twice because we don't have that "go to" player yet.
That girl is very good looking.

As a competitor, you hate to lose like what happened on Sunday. Personally, I not only wanted to win but to kick their teeth in like they did us. I, to this day...like many of my teammates, still can't believe the high school team I played on lost in the Florida Regionals (5A at the time) to an inferior team that was completely dominated. Athletes remember events Good or Bad for the rest of their lives. You want to win and get revenge. :usa: :usa:

My bad. I had forgotten about her death.

The HVL/Kobe-daughter connection got me thinking. What do you think is the probability of Kobe's daughter and Shaq's daughter playing together at LSU. I think it's a real possibility (if Kobe's daughter is of the right age.)
Ran across this and thought it was interesting:

My issue is especially on 2-2 or 3-2 counts a lot of the pitches aren’t even close. You have to at least make it competitive to get some swing and miss strikeouts.

I have two hairs on the top of my head these days (been that way for a long time). I'm always on the verge of pulling them when I see our pitchers continuously give up base hits on an 0-2 count. What happened to a high fast ball, slider that breaks just off the plate (strike zone), or a change up or 12-6 curve that drops to about 6 inches above the ground. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Back in Gunter's day there was a girl from out west (Seattle? I believe) named White that played for the women. She was so good she (I thinking) played with the Harlem Globetrotters. LSU women won at least one championship before the NCAA started. I remember they had two Australians on the team in the 70s. They've had some great players back in the day.
