Yeah Muschamp seems like a great team player and a guy really enjoying football right now. He's been there, done that, and doesn't let his ego get in his way. And he's rich enough and respected enough he could easily walk away and come back in a few years if he wanted.
I have no doubt he works his arse off but he seems to love every second of it. He is such a great coach to have on the staff.

They will still make the playoffs even if they drop 1-2 games and they will be battle tested and hard to beat..

should also be noted that T-Rob and Muschamp are very, very close. T-Rob worked under Muschamp when he was head coach at both Florida and South Carolina. So not only was this change helped by Muschamp being in Athens - likely orchestrated, in part, by him as well.
