If this is some twisted attempt to talk about how good your defense is, I think everyone already knows.

That was a defense that had no offense to help out and was without Jordan Davis plus senior captain Richard lecounte, plus loaded with underclassmen, so let’s not pretend it’s the same.

Georgia has completely wiped out pretty much everyone running the ball (in non-garbage time). Georgia has been good, but not overpowering compared to other games played against opponents passing attacks. Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn, South Carolina all have had 1-2 other games in which their passing efficiency numbers were worse than UGA. Clemson had similar results against NC State. So, splitting hairs here, but that's what you do when you are talking about someone being an all-time great defense.

Fair point

I worry more about facing a lockdown defensive backfield than i worry about facing a passing offense.
1 dimensional offenses are not a good formula against Kirby Smart.

But Todd Monken is rolling right now. One of the reasons is UGAs success against man coverage. Ladd McConkey and Adonai Mitchell are crushing man coverage when opponents dare to throw it at us. I wonder (maybe worry) if we can continue to find that same explosiveness against a team who can man up against them.

I dont think an opponent can man up against Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington. But Florida lost games with Kyle Pitts. You have to wonder if a team can win big matchups on the strength of 12 and 13 personnel (throwing the ball).

It would not surprise me in the slightest if we see Auburn again.

Hopefully the WRs will learn to catch the ball by then. Opportunities were there. Players just didn’t execute.

I'd love to see Ohio State's offense against the Georgia defense and vice versa. I believe both would put stresses on each other that they won't face against the other teams on their schedules.

Not so excited to see the Ohio State defense against their offense because although the defense has improved a ton so far so has the Georgia offense.

Maybe we'll get to see the matchup and maybe we won't. Gotta win them all at this point.

Bo’s bad passes were the problem, not the wrs who couldn’t catch his bad passes.

You may get your chance if tOSU doesn't have to play Bama first!

Then you should have no trouble with "this" defense then, should you?

Im just glad we have Jordan Davis back.

His games missed almost mirrors kirby smart's loss column since 2018.

Oh shite, people want to talk about how future, possible CFB games will play out on a CFB message board? How stupid of them.

Wonder what variables they were using. Additionally, if you removed the UGA game, I doubt that would be their new rank nationally because I would assume they didn't eliminate every other FBS team's worst YPP game as well.

The numbers also seem off. When I sorted FBS only, Kentucky has the highest non-UGA game YPP at 6.78.

Arky was 6.73 and AU was 6.44. So how do they have AU over Kentucky?

These are all fairly decent YPP averages for the record. But I think when people say this they're also factoring in that all the offenses they've faced are vastly outmanned in the talent dept, and run unfavorable schemes for this particular defense.

Florida for the year averages 7.07 YPP.

Florida in a limited size with Anthony Richardson starting averages 8.92 YPP (which would be #1 in the country by a huge margin).

Florida will lose by 30+, but it will be UGA's toughest test until the SECCG.

Congrats on the next 15-0 and National Title.

Its Georgia's year, and they worked for it.

Anthony Richardson or not, Florida is losing by 30+ next week, and will be down by 21+ at halftime.

Bama "fans" do the same thing. Dawgs are picking up t-shirts this year who are insecure.
