Georgia had more yards.
More yards per play.

"Butt kicking" is Bama's revisionist history at it again.

If Ga. was Ala. and beat a undefeated Ala. in the SEC ch., does Ala. get a free pass to the play-offs. I say yes. Ga. three years of dominance got them nothing, except for two national championships.

Would anyone on the committee actually bet money on Alabama beating Georgia in a rematch?

Bama really got screwed when they ran Georgia out of the stadium and then had to play a rematch with two of their biggest stars out.

Quit crying

You needed massive help from the refs in the form of non-calls by the refs AND the worst performance by UGA all season just to beat the Dawgs by 3 on a D- night.

Georgia did indeed get screwed if the metric is "best teams"

or the flimsy "eye test.

I mean it depends if bowers is healthy here but you are correct, Vegas would agree but this is all hypothetical hyperbole. We had no business losing the Sec champ game but we did, kudos to the winners Alabama.

Got a mulligan against an injured Bama team

See how that works? So quit crying. UGA had its shot and lost.

UGA out completely negates the absurd "best 4 teams" argument.

I don’t understand why people continue to ignore the CFP written protocol for determining “the 4 best teams” - it’s not “who do we think would be favored.” Based on their own written protocol of how they are to pick the 4 best teams they got it right. UGA lost out on the conf champion criteria to all 4 that made it, lost out on the SOS criteria to at least 3 that made it (UW, UT, and Bama), lost out on head to head criteria to the 1 team they played (Bama) and lost out on results versus common opponent criteria to Texas (common opponent Bama).

UGA not in the tournament completely negates the “it’s the 4 best teams” argument.

If it truly ever was about the 4 best teams, UGA is 100% in.

Yet, they weren’t.

It never was about the 4 best teams.

Clown committee.

Ok now take it a step further. If you are the committee who do you leave out? Michigan? Washington? You've already given FSU the shaft. If it's going to just be a question of who passes the eye test with records and conference championships a distant second then say that's what it is.

I have a serious question I'd like for you to answer:

Are you really this fricking stupid in real life, or is this just your internet persona?

LSU fans are pissy about big brother Bama possibly winning another title. They don’t care FSU.

I’d pick Bama to win, possibly by a larger margin, but wouldn’t bet on it for sure. UGA is elite.

Don’t lose to Alabama next time.

Win your conference next time.

Yeah - Bama got a mulligan against LSU so it worked in Bama's favor. Georgia got a mulligan against Bama and Bama got screwed on that one. The way it goes.

Georgia would be in the playoffs had the beat Bama head-to-head.

They lost
