UGA is gonna beat the breaks off of Texas. Texas has played no one all year

we beat "cupcake" Michigan pretty handily...
And so did Indiana.
I was talking about this turf which is right in Georgia's wheelhouse.
Seriously, it is very likely that Texas will have to score 28 points or more to beat Georgia on this surface.

Is it really smart to invite a QB controversy as you enter the playoffs? Perhaps it is but we will see.
Sark seems to have already crossed that bridge vs. aggy, with apparent buy in from Ewers (based on the smile I saw on Ewers face once Ewers reached the sideline when Arch came in)...
After this Saturday vs. Georgia, it's win or go home... I'd bet that Ewers, Arch, and Sark all agree that getting creative with the playbook and the use of Arch, pulling out all the stops and actually advancing as far as possible, is the best scenario for the whole team... including Ewers...
Winning (if possible) with the creative use of Arch coming in for designed plays would would not create a QB controversy IMO...

You’re awfully defensive. There’s nothing wrong with being a fan of packages.
Except the "Malik package" cost Arkansas the 2022 8&4 game. Had a nice lead and 8&4 was on the ropes, about to be down either 17 or 21 to zero. "Malik package" put in to pacify a third rate QB who had entered the portal and Pittman talked him back. Ultimately did transfer and ended up riding the pine at Texas State.
Drive failed, punted and Achane returned it 60 yards and the die was cast.

Still crying because the officials didn't call what you wanted on something that didn't happen when your QB ran upright in the A gap? You should be more upset that your team couldn't put it in from the one...
Georgia Tech QB Haynes King-- "He put his helmet on the ball and made a really good hit."
No mention of targeting from the Tech QB who was allegedly targeted.
Haynes King is a classy, gutsy guy.
Tech and Tennessee fans complaining about refs are not.

Yeah about that……don't count on it against uga
Are you mad they let your guys get away with targeting?

If Manning can run the ball he will be problematic for UGA unless UGA has been sandbagging or improves drastically in containing mobile QBs and tackling. That is doubtful, 12 games in and you are pretty much what you are and in UGAs case that is a team who has not tackled well at times this season.

To think aggy ran him off to start Weigman.
As an aggy King might have beat Texas last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Georgia did not look all that hot against Georgia Tech...
Georgia looked about as bad a week before the Texas game against a much worse team than Georgia Tech in Mississippi State. It's also not wise to judge a team based on a rivalry game that has been one sided and the team that has been losing that game is ascending. There is no reason anyone would watch a Tech game unless they are a Tech fan BUT Tech is very very efficient at moving the ball and maintaining the clock....it is almost masterful. Their offensive line play is a work of art against anyone they have played. Their problem is they lack depth and talented depth...but what they do they do extremely well and in a rivalry game the adrenaline involved in playing a bitter rival often times is enough to negate a depth and talent difference. Tech is far better that Mississippi State and MSU played UGA very tight...and the next week UGA came out and shellshocked UTs offense. It is unlikely UGA starts slow this week based on past games against good teams who are equally talented and deep in games that mean something.

Okay.
We'll be ready. You saw the speed with which our defense got to your QB's in the first game. If you want to intentionally run your prized future QB, he'll be taking some big hits.
UGA sacked Manning twice in the first game and he didn't play that many snaps. He ended up with -1 yards rushing.

I hope you play us like you played Aggie...
You are very likely going to have to score 28+ points on this turf to win this game against this Georgia team.
Mercedes Benz stadium opened in 2017.
Georgia has played there a total of nine times.
During those nine games against all ranked opponents, Georgia has averaged 30.11 points per game.
UGA is battle tested and is accustomed to playing on this stage....it makes a difference. Texas hasn't been challenged much this season and has one games worth of experience playing in these types of games from last season. That is a ever so slight advantage to UGA in a game that is, on paper, about as tight as they get.
I can't answer why this is so BUT it might be problematic for Texas. Tickets to the game are as cheap as they have been in about 10 years. I am just about at the point where we will use our 4 instead of selling them. I seriously thought that with Texas being in the game they'd sell for at least $1200 each because they have several times in the past but the market is awash in tickets and they are dropping like flies. Again, I don't know why BUT they are way less than they are when LSU, Auburn, or Alabama is coming to town. Thosuands of upper deck and end zone seats for far less than face value....the only time that has happened since its been in Atlanta was when Arkansas or Missouri was in the game. When Arkansas was in it we used 2 tickets to put coats in seats....those tickets were worth more in actual dollars than tickets right now are selling for.....

Our O line must pick up the blitzes better, and our QB must get rid of the ball quickly if not running, or it will be a long game…
I’ll definitely tune in for the answers to these questions… enough of a rivalry going now that I think both teams will come to play…

I expect this from Aggie. It’s their M.O. But from yall? Well that’s just pure gayness.
