Carson Beck has a very strong arm and is incredibly accurate on deep routes. Match that up with the speed of Arian Smith, Ladd McConkey, Yazeed Haynes, and Logan Johnson and Georgia could create a perfect storm.
Beck also checks down extremely well. He is a smart and composed player.
I would be very surprised if he doesn't start and put up huge numbers.

He is definitely not the only target. Dylan Raiola (#1) and Jake Mecklinberg (#7) from Savannah are both higher rated guys that are being targeted.

There is no benefit to the 9th game. If anything, do away with divisions so we don't have to suffer with vandy, mizzou, and South Carolina every year.
If you didn't get that challenge against mizzou, you probably don't beat OSU, just saying..

You make a good point about the Missouri game being a test.
No telling how much extra time was put into that game, but it certainly lived up to the premise that many teams will try extra hard to knock off the defending national champion.
With the 12 team playoff system, the loser of the SEC CG could conceivably end up playing a 16 game season.

Whichever one can take us to 15-0 again.
All of them can, but I would go with Beck to start the season.

"riveting"
Yep, finding a quick replacement for Oklahoma was an SEC decision so it provides a pretty melodramatic start.
But Ohio Valley teams generally need the money so it is not a total bust from my point of view.

The correct answer is whoever is the local Georgia boy that is a walk on since Kirby loves to play them over highly rated QB's. It helps if they're old enough to be eligible to rent a car from any car rental agency.

The challenge was a road night game.
Our offensive line was exposed (night road environment effected them and mizzou beat tackles around the edge that didn't lose their assignments the rest of the season).
We didn't do anything against Missouri that didnt happen January 2022 against Bama (down 2 scores in the 4th quarter).
Mizzou was a challenge (or notch in the belt). But the experience wasn't necessary for the Ohio bowl game win.

Or good enough to score 4 TDs in the first half of the SECCG. That helps too. It leads to back to back national championships.

Disagree.
Stockton had a better redshirt year than Vandagriff.
But that doesn't mean that Stockton year 2 is better than Vandagriff year 3.
You are taking too simplistic a view which ignores Vandagriffs ceiling.

Just out of curiosity, how? I can't find any stats where he actually played.
Do you mean in practice?

Which one is the geriatric arrogant alcoholic?
I'd vote that one.

Was Stockton better at keeping the bench from flying of the ground or what?

Barring something unforeseen like an injury, it will be Beck.
Beck has NFL size and arm strength at 6' 4.5" and 225 lbs.
He's not fast like Bennett but he moves well enough to avoid a rush.
Our quarterbacks have to learn Monken's system and experience is just as important as raw talent.
Beck has patiently waited his turn and learned that system.

Worried about Carson Beck. He is not a handsome man - ugly quarterbacks tend to lack confidence - this is a scientific fact.

Idk what it is. Maybe that he played 1A private school or something else, but every time Vandagriff gets in (very limited sample size, I know) it seems something weird happens. Fumbled snap. Busted play. He’s in with the 3rd string. I get it. But something about Vandagriff to this point always looks awkward. Saying this, he may come out like Joe Montana at G-Day but to me I could easily see him being the odd man out and going elsewhere and doing well.
