I don’t like either team but you are delusional. The reason that Kirby is an elite coach (well, one among many reasons) is that his teams consistently improve over the course of the season. They are peaking at the right time. Their defensive improvement is incredible. First 6-7 games I thought this was by far the worst defense of his tenure and now they look elite on that side of the ball. Even before the IU game, was chatting with an OSU friend and even he admitted that UGA was the one team that worried him. And Buckeye fans rarely acknowledge the quality of potential opponents.

He has our number and for that reason only (petty, sure) I don’t like Kirby, but I sure as hell respect him.

You won a meaningless SECCG. Both teams are in the playoffs anyway. Alabama will last longer than Georgia in this playoff so Georgia fans can cry some more.

Are you sure you're not some legitimate aggy?

Bama simply not what they used to be.

Bama is not the second best team in the SEC anymore, at least not this year. There are probably 4 other teams better. A&M, Oklahoma, Texas, and Ole Miss (pre-Kiffin exit) would all beat, or have beaten in OU's case, Bama.

This is not only true, it was apparent DeBoer and Bama had been told we were in, else why rest up to 13 players? Yes 4 were injured, but the rest probably could have played, you play hurt in meaningful games, not in games that have no meaning. I do not think Bana could have gotten a top 4 seed with so many on loss teams ahead of us.

This DeBoer going for it on fourth down on his own 15ish yard line. He knew he was in, but was told to let on like he didn't know, because he wasn't "supposed to know". So, in reality, Bama is 1-0 this year vs. Georgia in meaningful games.

AND we got a much softer side of the bracket than Georgia, so who really won?

Lets see, OU, is winnable, we are favored, Indiana a Texas Tech/Oregon is winnable, why is Oregon even a 5 seed? LOL Who have they beat? USC is their lone top 25 win. They lost to Indiana, beat an average Penn St. team 30-24 in double OT and beat Iowa 18-16 on a last second FG. Just why are they ranked ahead of Ole Miss or Texas AM ?

Georgia, get to to title game, cause we gonna be there...

I chose to take Georgia with the 2.5 spread.
So not totally meaningless.

It is damned impressive that as badly as your arse was ripped apart Saturday that Monday you have healed up enough to act like a typical Alabama fan.

For starters we rested 13 player (we knew we were in) AND we might have been told (must have been told) we were locked into the 9 seed and would go to OU. Since we destroyed that team in the first game, 425 yards to 208, I think we feel good about the game. That is why we are favored in Norman. OU will not get a punt return, and 75 yard pass and pick 6 and 3 turnovers this game. Also, since we knew we were in, why show our package to stop the blitz on Sat. unless I am mistaken, there will be screens put in, and shovel passes to slow down the blitz, unless the OC is stupid. Also, a few EMPTY BACKFIELD QB draws, and I would put in a heavy package for 3rd and 1 with an extra blocker in the backfield, and an O-Lineman in the TE spot instead of handing the ball off in the backfield 5-7 yards deep (so stupid). We were happy with our matchup, but having Indiana, Texas Tech and Oregon on the same side was the dream scenario. We beat Georgia, Tenn. Vandy and Mizzou all in a row, we can get on a roll. The coaching, especially our OC is the biggest hinderance, he doesn't seem t be able to adjust on the go like the things I spoke about above to deal with constant blitzes.

I do, and if he reads this, he might take action....

As strange as it may sound, no one is this retarded in the state of Alabama.

I knew that we had turned the corner when Kirby pulled the defensive starters in the third quarter of the Mississippi State game.

Then we held Texas to 23 rushing yards.
Held Georgia Tech to 69 rushing yards.
And now Bama to -3 rushing yards.

Held all three ranked teams to a combined total of 89 rushing yards and a combined total of 26 points.

The pundits are now looking at Georgia as a serious contender.

Uh, you play like you did against AllBurn and UGA. NONE of those games are winnable.

Melt bitch, back to back SEC champions, and just dragged our nuts all over Bama. Saban ain't coming back, enjoy being mediocre with Katlin for many years. Couldn't happen to a more deserving team.
