Yes, this is a joke but it shows you how crazy things are getting. Bulldogs could be seen as K9’s used to attack people in the old days.
There is no evidence of it but it’s probably next. Trying to think of our new mascot already. How about a poodle called “fluffy”. That can’t hurt anyones feeling can it? Or is there racism in a poodle that I missed. Need some of you to teach me history in case I missed something.

It looks like it’s gonna be on the ballot. A lot of people like me could care less if it goes because it just gives an excuse for people.
My comment above is more about , so lets say we take down the flag and every confederate soldier. There is a 20 mile park in Vicksburg that is historical about different battles etc and people from all over the country go there to read historical facts about history.
In front of each monument , some standing 50 feet tall there are large metal signs which tell about the war as it went on and historical data. It’s like a museum of 20 miles and is a full day ride.
Should that also be removed?

Then we need to vote out the weak politicians who don't do their jobs. Putting on the ballot is a weak move.

No, because that's a museum that details history. The Civil War is a historical event- showing where battles were fought, Union or Confederate, has nothing to do with race.
Conversely, Confederate monuments in front of American courthouses intentionally glorify traitors. It truly is ironic.
Germany has banned any sort of public expression of Nazi symbolism, but you can still find it if you wish to learn the history itself in public museums, of course.
Hiding history is not cool- that's censorship, and I understand if you're apprehensive about that. It's a legitimate concern. But that is very different than glorifying Confederate traitors on 50 foot monuments.
