He’s got a thing for trying to hook up with interns.

He's always coached at schools that bring in 4 and 5 star players, so I don't think he has to do much coaching. And right now he's being micro managed

Been reported Pruitt is in Texas right now recruiting for Alabama.

Clark is a damn good football coach with a good possibility of being great. Everything you look for in a quality coach. Just has yet to do it at a big time program. That imo is only bc he hasn't had the chance yet. He's won everywhere he's been so far.

I would have liked us to think outside of the box a little and give Clark or Neal Brown an interview.

I’m in the minority on Pruitt. I thought he was exactly what GA needed as I despised Mark Richt as a coach (great person, stayed way too long, should be a missionary). My impression is he hated the attitude at GA and raged against the machine.

I would say he is a high reward/high risk guy. He’s never run a program, so I have some concerns about him getting along with a staff. Otherwise, I believe he would definitely change the culture at UT for the better —probably would run off a ton of soft players in doing so.

Being from Northeast AL, he's probably hated UT all his life. That, and the fact that UT is a dumpster fire of shite right now, might mean you have to pay him more than you think.

That aside, I like him as a DC. Our issues this year really aren't on him. He might make a good HC, but who knows? I don't know if another unproven hope is the best choice for Tennessee right now.

Unfortunately, we have no choice.

Jeremy Pruitt is about as different as you can get from Butch Jones, so there's that.

Another thing is that if Vol Twitter goes after Pruitt, he'll start talking shite right back.

Hahahahaha, damn Stat, you're truly a hard honky to please man. You think Aranda is an unimpressive DC and now you want Pruitt gone from Bama? I hope you're not in mid to upper management at your job cause if so I feel sorry for your employees.

It could work. The dude can coach football and recruit. It's the other stuff that could get dicey, but maybe Fulmer can cover his arse there. Compliance will need to babysit him.

Extremely underwhelming hire if true. Great hire as a DC, but wtf has he done to make him a HC at a big time program? He's a good to great DC with terrible interpersonal skills.

A committee of "administrators" ain't gonna hire him coming out of an interview..I'll guarantee that!
