did you all forget the hit that was put on Dez Bryant at the beginning of the game? Then anohter huge hit a play or two after that placed on an OSU receiver? UGA has been trying to take out receivers all day. Refs are just trying to keep the game under control. It's a moot point anyway. OSU is a better team and they deserve to win.

Flagging the QB in this situation would probably be more effective than flagging the DB, imo.

I remember at Media days Les made a point to say he was concerned that unnecessary roughness had a chance to be over officiated. He was right.

To be fair, the new rule applies to more than just leading with the head.
It's more along the lines of any big hit specifically aimed at the head. That includes any part of the body.
I don't think this guy was aiming at his head though, and hit mostly the shoulder pads of the receiver.

Read the rule book and Points of Emphasis. You don't know what you are talking about....which is not surprising.
