It certainly wasn’t. Florida has been a middle of the pack or worse program its entire history other than about 12 seasons. UGA used Florida like the doormat they are and the course of history has been corrected.

Historically Florida has only been relevant in 13% of the seasons they’ve played football. 16 years out of 120. Other than those 16 years UGA has owned the Gators almost as thoroughly as UGA has owned Kentucky and Vandy. This is because Florida has been a doormat historically. They caught fire with Spurrier and Meyers ride the tail end of that but Florida is close to their historical norm currently. UGA owns the gators.

Look up the all-time series. They have 44 victories.
Look at the 50’s and 60’s. They handily owned the series in those decades back-to-back. (‘49-‘59 UF 7-4 over UGA; ‘60-‘70 UF 7-3-1 over UGA).
I hate Florida more than you, but I don’t act like a petty liar when we win.
It’s great this is a rivalry. It’s be one since the ‘20’s. It’s alive and well

Nonsense. Everyone talked about how the offense was boring, lacked explosiveness and that they couldn't win a title with Stetson Bennett IV at QB. Of course on that last bit they were right...they couldn't win "a title"...they had to win 2 LOLt

We have not had great coaches at the same time usually. We were bad during the Dooley and most of the Smart years. Georgia was bad most of the Spurrier and Meyer years.
