goergia and florida is a "rivalry" like iowa and minnesota are rivals, meaning one of those tings that only figgits from there schools know is a 'rivalry" becuase nbody else in the entrie country gives a zhit and it never ever matters

UGA vs UF is odd because the series has long stretches of domination by each side. There are almost no periods where the games go back and forth.
It’s always one team dominating for 15-20 years, then it goes back to the other doing the same.

To be fair, it's the broadcast because of SEC scheduling. Yesterday's slate of SEC matchups were pure shite. It's overrated as a rivalry. It rarely has major implications on the National scene. Everbank field evenly split into Red and Blue is not exactly great theatre. The fights between drunk rednecks (who never attended either university) outside the stadium draw more attention.
