Time to cede Louisiana. A festering cancerous freeloading state.

If it's not taxpayer dollars, then the current students are footing the bill via tuition/fees, which is arguably even worse

LSU's facilities and infrastructure are crumbling, meanwhile let's allocate $30 million generated via enrollment towards buying out the football coach's contract. Jesus christ, just burn it down and start over again. Anyone involved directly is complete and utter human garbage

You are the most spoiled children of all time. Nothing like burning it all down over a football game

Holden Spaht is allegedly covering a majority of the buyout, not Graves.

Hmmm.

ACTUAL GOVERNOR OF THE ACTUAL STATE OF LOUISIANA: "Taxpayers are paying the buyout."

SOME RANDOM ANONYMOUS MESSAGE BOARD POSTER: "No they're not."

Hmmm... I just don't know who to believe...

You should tell that to your governor who claimed Woodward was the reason A&M gave Jimbo a 76 million dollar buyout.

That can be taken two different ways. I think what the guy meant is someone or several someone's (who are taxpayers of the state of Louisiana) are having to step up and pay for the buyout. He didn't say taxpayer dollars from the government are being used. He just said taxpayers are paying it, which he's right. It's not like they're going into a government fund and using that money to pay the buyout. Taxpayers are coming out of their own pocket to pay it.

But either way, this entire thing is a comedy of errors for the school and the state in general. It's not like the state needed anymore bad press.

Of all the crap going on in Louisiana to be embarrassed and ashamed about, Landry is at the top of that list. How anyone voted for this simple minded retard is beyond me.
And I’m a republican so don’t start with the liberal crap.

That is actually a good funny joke.... Hilarious but so untrue as to what happened in that situation....

exactly, he doesn't know what he is talking about. one major booster is paying 80% of the buyout, that was already reported after the Governor rasn his mouth.
