I know Tennesee seems to be a bit down. However it has never prevented the Gatrors/Vols from not being a Hard hitting affair. I expect Helmets to fly and "The Concussion" fan club to receive new members. Its gonna be a physical SEC game, the way I like. Good luck to both teams Fellas

It should be a good game.
Tennessee played really well in the first half against Oregon, but their lack of depth caught up with them. They really did look good while it lasted, though. I think Coach Dooley will do them proud in time.
UF needs to show it can play well in the first half. This is something we aren't used to seeing in them, and slow starts may not work out in their SEC schedule....They did play MUCH better in the second half last weekend, though. I was impressed.

Florida will win the game as long as they don't turn the ball over.
Two things hurt Oregon:
1. They gave up 4 or 5 really big running plays early before the defense settled in.
2. They turned the ball over on the opening kick off.
It took them a while to recover from that.
Florida's run D should be better than Oregon's (who was undersized on the DL vs that big (young) UT OL).
So, the turnovers are the key to the game for Florida.

Florida should come away with the win, no doubt. But damn, after watching a replay of the Tennessee/Oregon game, Tennessee played pretty damn good until the wheels came off. I expect a lot of that this year...UT staying in games until the depth and youth take over.

if I was Meyer I'd go with a conservative game plan and not turn the ball over. they'll easily walk out with a W if they win the turnover battle and minimize mistakes. Tenn is just too thin right now.

I think it will be the first half, but we need to learn to keep fighting when shite gets tough. Gen. Neyland would be making them boys run Neyland Stadiums stairs with the 2nd half effort.
If Tennessee plays 4 Qtr. Football this will be a game.

We also need to score TD's and not Field goals.

We need to convert a frickin 3rd down...

If Florida scores some points in the first qtr, it will get ugly. If they keep up the trend and don't do shite in the first qtr, it will be a game into the 4th.

It's only a matter of time before UF figures it out. My luck it WILL be the first quarter Saturday.

I hope so because if we don't pick up the production in the 1st qtr, we're going to be staring down the barrel at 3-4 SEC losses.

Gators/Vols is the first game in a line of "I hate you football". I mean the type of hoopla where if coaches aren't carefull a skirmish breaks out in Warm -ups. It reminds of how Florida and Florida State use to be before a game or Miami/Florida State. All I know is this, there is going to be the sound of cracking Helmets and Bodies hitting the turf.
Auburn/LSU and Alabama/LSU are similar. The reason why I say this is the fact that the injury bug hasn't set in yet. Teams are still fresh early in the season. By Mid to late season you see a drop off in the Intensity level. The games just dont have the POW factor.
But Its all good fellas

I hope the Time to Die chants from the student section will be audible on the television

I'm not so sure about that to be honest. They lack a short yardage back. Burton is no Tebow and Moody is simply not a very good back. Brantley will likely improve, although he has looked pretty average so far (even that might be too generous), but they can't just conjure a solution to 3rd and short out of thin air.

We have a short yardage back. The problem on third and short has been more execution based rather than personnel based. Mike Gillislee or Moody is our 3rd down and short option. Mike G is probably a little more solid.

If it is true it will be 90 degrees on Saturday, TN will suffer a lot this weekend.
We are very deep.

"First of the Slobber Knockers" was last weekend, UGAy/SC. Always a bloodbath.
