I am noone has tried that.....at all..you are like Kirby Sart and Nick Saban combined with that level of knowledge.

But in all seriousness...make UF prove we can throw. Load the box with an extra man and go something like cover 1.

If Baylor’s WRs could get open, I have no doubt Florida’s can.

The question is if Philo is given enough time to throw. If he doesn’t have time, Auburn will likely win.

I’m taking Florida and laying the points.

Their roster is better and I trust Summerall more than Golesh who just runs a light version of Tennessees offense which doesn’t hold up against teams with talent on defense

Do what?

When Golesh was offensive coordinator @ Tennessee did they not beat Bama and drop a FITTY spot (52 to be exact) on Saban the defensive mastermind in 2022?

Golesh was only there 2 seasons

And since he left has Tennessee not fallen off?

They were winning 11 games when he was there

Come on man…

I’m talking about that offensive scheme in general. I do think Golesh is better offensive mind than Heupel is and was/is able to get more out of it than he is.

The issue is the pass concepts are just pretty simple and defenses with a lot of talent have figured it out over time and found the best way to clamp it down.

If he is able to pair a good ground game with it that will help a lot.

I do think that the version of the veer and shoot we ran in 2022 has been somewhat countered by now. Heupel has adjusted quite a bit since then. It’ll be interesting to see what old Golesh does. In 2022 there were teams that had no idea at all what they were looking at. No advantage last forever though

Why is it so hard for a coach to get multiple. If he's just another Gus rigid in his ways then Auburn deserves all the blame. 2022 was nice but that was was probably shock and awe.

I say Florida got the first choice, and the Barners got what was left. Saturday, we'll see if the Gators chose wisely.

I think he eventually will pivot away from it. Maybe he already has to a degree. Heupel has become very multiple the past two seasons. It will be interesting to watch.

Given Scott Stricklin’s track record of hiring coaches,
I am not too optimistic

I think they are both good coaches, and if given time will turn each program around. I think the question is just how much around??

Watched the replay of that Baylor game and had forget how often Durkin brings pressure with a LB right up the gut. He brought the house about 3 times also. Atkins really stood out. Philo better be ready to make quick decisions in his first SEC schedule game.

I'll be watching closely as I keep an eye on the Ole Miss game. If you can't multitask during SEC season, you need to turn your man-card in.
