Get mad if you want to, but Myles Garrett is what Jadeveon Clowney was suppose to be.

quote:

Clowney showed growth early-on w/ Vrabel as LB coach.

Technique regressed when Vrabel moved to DC then HC.

He's 1 of the most dominant run defenders but you don't pay run-stuffers $24 mil APY.

His tech is raw & w/o growth after 5 seasons

He makes play via size, power, agility

quote:

Myles is constantly working his craft to play w/ lower pad level, add moves & become better.

This season he's dropping weight to get back to college speed w/o sacrificing NFL power.

More dominant vs pass, which is what you pay big $$ for in a 70%+ sub package league

quote:

I would have taken Clowney at the time. He hasn't played to his full potential

His upside was so huge. I couldn't have passed on him, unless I had the benefit of hindsight

You build your defense to your talent & RAC has done so w/ Clowney, he just didn't progress to his ceiling

Good thing Landry and Beckham are in Cleveland to carry Myles.

I am not a draft/nfl analyst who does radio, but thank you thinking my opinions are that sophisticated.

I know you’re an Lsu fan and you try to make everything about you constantly because you’re needy, but naming 2 WRs that haven’t played in Cleveland much at all doesn’t have any correlation or relevance to this.

You mad ? Browns fans aren't looking forward to watching Myles play. Beckham is why the fans are pumped.

Was Garrett the A&M player who racked up all his stats on group of five and FCS teams then faded away during SEC play? Can’t remember.

Amazing how all the UT fans thought he was better than Myles. Amazed me.

He was the 2x 1st Team All American who went #1 overall had already been an All Pro. You know, better than any Auburn defender in the league.

Clowney has three pro bowls and a first team all pro under his belt. He’s doing quite ok. Plus, he’s got more money than any of us so who cares?

Braddock is simply a radio host. He’s not an an analyst. Stop. Those jobs are actually real.

That said, I agree with all of his points on this subject.
