The Locker Room, where the freakin’ CVS is now used to be great on game days. Alex made the best Bloody Mary’s ever and usually had a keg of beer. The good old days :)
Plus messy fries right next door at 3 AM

Well since my oldest graduated few years ago and youngest is a sophomore there now I frequent the strip quite a bit but it is definitely different . I can’t believe they can charge that to get in. Daughter said that was at 1225 and Rounders

They fleece the hell out of state students. A water down draft beer will cost 10 bucks tonight.

When I return to campus now I don’t recognize the place. I feel like Brooks in Shawshank Redemption when he’s released from prison.
Hell I graduated only 4 years and its unrecognizable. The rectangular area from BDS, Paul Bryant, University, and Queens City has so much more of an urban feel. Its like an extension of downtown now
Also Lil Italy being gone hurt my soul.

In my mind messy fries have saved my life many times

- lose to South Carolina 16-9
- repeat
Also, I assume the multiple Nicodemus' with the ribeye was implied

I lived a few hundred feet behind Qwik Grill my sophomore year and I can't tell you how much money I spent there. At least a bill every two weeks.

I was there mid 90s. I'm pretty sure the health department was bribed to skip that whole street. Good times indeed.
The Booth had a smoking hot bartender that would feed me the bargain beer of the day. All you could drink Coors Dry at $.75 a can

I will say this - we were in Ole Miss mode in those days. Didn't matter what the outcome of the football game was, we still went hard.
I remember going to town for the 2010 Iron Bowl. Absolute fricking ghost town. Same for the GOTC. Young bucks can't handle adversity.

I mean, the only season that has brought out more pure joy and excitement from me than 2005 was 2008. We won all our games (other than GOAT Florida game) like 13-7 and then proceeded to not win the National Title, SEC or Western Division.
And it was still awesome.
Low expectations.

Tuts was walking distance from where I lived on Reed Street. Place was the shite. Still have coupons for a philly cheesesteak and drink.

My wife and I first "met" (not randomly, but still) at The Booth (the real one) and our first "date" was at the Japanese place above Tuts.
They tore down national monuments those assholes.

I think I'm going to have to go to Archibald's this weekend. 5 hour round trip just for those succulent smoked pork ribs.
