When I return to campus now I don’t recognize the place. I feel like Brooks in Shawshank Redemption when he’s released from prison.

The Strip has been commercialized awhile back. I remember when it used to be nothing but dusty dive bars that half the TVs barely worked and your feet would be stuck to the floor from some sticky fluids discouraging movement from your spot. Still you were guaranteed to take someone home.

El Rincon was for the rookies. Pepitos was for the pros.

I was at UA from 05-09. Cheap Shots was my place. Go in with the Sun up one day, come out with the Sun up the next day. While I do miss the old dive bars, the new bars are pretty cool too. Downtown is light years better too.

The Locker Room, where the freakin’ CVS is now used to be great on game days. Alex made the best Bloody Mary’s ever and usually had a keg of beer. The good old days :)

I wasn't a big meth guy but if I had been I imagine this is where I would have gone to get my stuff.
