Believe me, there isn't anything to be cocky about after that win. Worst Tigers game I've sat through in a few years. Don't get get me wrong, glad to get the W but both teams looked like garbage offensively.
We won't ever catch up record wise with our traditional SEC opponents and honestly I hope we stop scheduling them. Plus we will always be one bad hire away from being back in the CFB cellar.
All of that being said, the last 4-5 years Memphis has been the best team in the state. Granted, when the list includes UT and whatever is going on with them, Vandy and MTSU its not really an illustrious list.

Would you please beat UCF then, and shut them up?
Vanderbilt is not terrible they just have to play a SEC schedule and usually play a good non conference opponent or two. If they were In the ACC they would be in the top half of the conference.
Vols are just in a bad place, hope they find a way back at least to the middle.

What they saying? Why do these $hit teams always shoot their mouth off. We can put up 70 without breaking a sweat. And they will do good to put up a point with a freshmen backup qb.
