Might be Tennessee’s best shot at being decent tbh

fiddle. Has since 1992. Jeremy will regret taking this job, if he doesn't already. Have heard he and Phil don't exactly "hang out" together.
Pruitt should just let Phil run the show behind the scenes and hope UT has a couple decent years, take credit, and jump ship for a better job

Lol at Pruitt getting a better job than that.

I was wondering how they managed to get the win against ETSU.

Pruitt too dumb to be a head ball coach. Fulmer a better option if they ever want to win an SEC game again.

What's that say about Georgia? He's too dumb for Tennessee but he was he best DC UGA ever had outside ERK.

You know I believed this and that he'd be an asshat rage-o-holic because of what y'all UGA peeps said but so far he's been the opposite. I think had y'all not set my expectations so low I might have been less apt to see that he actually is a good teacher. Don't know if he'll be a good coach but he's certainly not what y'all told me to expect and really what I expected of him.

Tennessee is the most dysfunctional clusterfrick of a program these eyes have ever gazed upon. They can not stop stepping on their own dicks.
The AD on the practice field coaching players? What in the actual frick?
Proot is one dumb sum bitch who will ultimately be a massive failure, no doubt, but he should be blazing that trail without the has been former coach pawing around in his yard.
It's one frick up after another. Tennessee is "Can't Get Right" from the movie Life

Oddly enough. Pruitt has spoken more highly of him than anyone. Said his Dad told him to remember he has a HOF coach to lean on for advice.
I don't like my boss hanging around when I'm trying to get my work done. But I sure act like it doesn't bother me when he is. I tell him I appreciate his useless outdated advice, The truth is that it is distracting and I simply get more done when he is gone.

Pruitt's a defensive minded coach given a chance by Fulmer whose 'crime' here is offering a few pointers to a struggling OL.
Fulmer, btw, was one of the best goddamn OL coaches this conference has ever seen. And in case you missed it, we're struggling at OL. If a fricking legend who's a great OL coach wants to get involved let him.
Don't let your Bammer hate for Fulmer blind you. No coach in their right mind would be upset with Fulmer offering a bit of advice. I know in your fantasy world Fulmer stabbed poor ole Johnny in the back while he had surgery but the truth is far more complicated. Poor ole Johnny had a serious drinking problem and a team that was ready to boycott TSIO because he'd become such an a-hole -- that's why he got fired.

You are being incredibly naive.
These coaches are all control freaks. He may very well humor the old man, but you can be sure he doesn't like the former coach sticking his nose in his program. There is no way in hell he went and asked him to do this.

Naive is thinking that both Pruitt and Fulmer aren't on the same page. You another victim of the 'Phil gonna take over and stab em when nobody's looking so he can coach UT again' conspiracy?

It's not like this was unexpected.
Fulmer will meddle. Pruitt doesn't want meddling.
It may be innocent enough now, with Fulmer offering "advice" to the OL, but Fulmer won't be able to stop, and Pruitt is a loose cannon. This will end badly. UT better hope it doesn't happen on the sideline during a game.

Please, dear Gumps tell us more about Fulmer.

(Fulmer is)a fricking legend
And so you paid off this fricking legend to go
away. He took the money but kept hanging
around for another shot at HC---and you have no problem with his meddling ?
This should work out really nice for you.
