The most interesting and notable note from Tuesday was Phillip Fulmer’s presence on the field. The former Hall of Fame coach has been at every practice this fall, but today, Fulmer wasn’t in khakis and a jacket but full sweats with a practice outline in his hand. He watched the QBs, WRs and TEs, but mostly observed the offensive line, offering tips to Trey Smith, K’Rojhn Calbert, Drew Richmond and Riley Locklear, among others

Bet those were some big sweats

Everyone could see what was going on during their coaching search debacle. The man knows how to stage a coup

Phil has slimmed down, but is still rusting Bama fans just the same.

Least shocking development ever. Just wait until Pruitt loses a few games and comes in below Phil’s expectations.

Been saying this since January. ONE person wanted Pruitt as head coach. Fulmer. Pruitt will fail, no fault of his own and fulmer will stand up and say to the fans, u need me on that wall, u like me on that wall... and resume head coaching duties.
Can u imagine Saban letting some a-hole do this ?

This snake plays that ut administration like a fiddle. Has since 1992. Jeremy will regret taking this job, if he doesn't already. Have heard he and Phil don't exactly "hang out" together.

It's why he killed the Mike Leach deal. He'll be head coach within a couple of years.

If UT lets a dinosaur like that coach, they can rename their stadium Jurassic Park.

The Fulmer vs. Pruitt Civil War at UT will be the final straw for that football program.

Oddly enough. Pruitt has spoken more highly of him than anyone. Said his Dad told him to remember he has a HOF coach to lean on for advice.

And FWIW, Phil's been at plenty of practices. So have a metric ton of former players.

Sounds like he is sizing Asparagus up for the kill shot. Fulmer will be interim coach before the 3rd Saturday in October

Preciate your interest in a random UT practice during UTEP week.
