But the bigger mistake is the zone. poorly designed in my opinion. Take that designer and kick him in the nuts.
This times 100X. The new stadium would be much better if the Zone wasn't there.

The facade of Kyle is going to best in the entire country......hand's down. Looking at the rendering it looks like they are thinking a little more long term. Completely tearing down the first deck will make it a complete bowl on bottom and it looks like they will have the option down the road to connect the student side with the new south endzone and get rid of the 3 decks in the future if they chose.

South Carolina was another school they modeled after:

The trickiest thing I would think is how they are lowering the field but the West Deck will still be standing
How the hell are they going to do that? Either they move the field closer to the west side after lowering it, in which case the zone if off kilter, or they extend the west side of the stadium down some more. It seems like they HAVE to extend the west side down some more, doesn't it?

I believe both the East & West 1st decks will be completely demolished, while the 2nd & 3rd decks will remain, but be completely renovated.
The 2nd & 3rd decks were built stand-alone from the 1st.

Instead of building the zone as it is now... They should have tried to incorporate the sideline stands into the construction as much as possible. That is the difference in all of this when comparing to other schools. Alabama/Florida incorporated their end zone upper decks into the rest of the stadium.
ATM pretty much built an entirely new stadium stands within the rest of the stadium. Now they want to connect everything but they have legitimate issues because of the conflicting designs.
I have no doubt that Kyle will look great in about 3-5 years but at such a high cost.

I believe all of that will be true. Can't do it on the cheap.

Now if that was built originally then y'all would have no problem. Looks kinda like Tiger Stadium.

Bryand-Denny stadium has a seating capacity of 101,821, and is the second largest stadium in the SEC, the fifth largest stadium in the United States and the eighth largest non-racing stadium by seating in the world.

this redesign rendering has been around for a while. this is my preferred choice.

What are they going to do about the bats? Isn't Kyle Field now a protected habitat, or something along those lines?

Looks like they envision moving the E King Gill statue to the corner of Houston and Joe Routt.
Quite colorful. I dont remember those types of trees on any part of campus.
I also wonder if those corner "pavilions" will have covered party decks (for lack of a better term) on top...
