I agree. They have a chance to rip some heads out of asses.

They need to do it.

We want the 4 best teams. That doesn’t include any from sunbelt-type leagues. That’s what we want.

Well the children are awake. Speaking of sunbelt teams perhaps aggie should move there where they might be able to win a conference.

So Bama forced the committee to choose them? I'm not understanding how this is Alabama's fault. Bama only did what they could control and that was beat Georgia's arse.

I love how people just assume Georgia is going to blow out FSU.

Where have I heard this before. Oh yea. The last time Texas played Georgia. But then when we won, the excuse of oh we didn't want to be there came out. That's exactly what Georgia will say this time of they lose also. Bet me money.

This is the statement from Saban:

"This is just one of those years where -- and there have been other years like this -- where somebody that may have been deserving got left out," Saban said on Sunday. "Florida State, certainly, going undefeated did everything they could to get into the playoffs. Unfortunately, probably because of the injury to their quarterback, are not going to have that opportunity."

Sleazy Nick sucked up the false ESPN narrative and ambulance chased Jordan Travis with it.

Bama is #5.

What's crazy is that it actually says 'availability of key players

Yet BAMA most likely only beat Georgia because Georgia didn’t have key players available.

Three ADs prevented the 12 team playoff from being implemented this year.

Florida State was one of them.

Why should someone take a stand against something the alleged aggrieved party wanted to keep?

This is a totally false narrative.

Did you see what FSU did to LSU ??

FSU wound give your Texas boys all they could handle.

This happens nearly every day in sports... This decision of who to leave in and who to leave out. Norvell has done it hundreds of times: making a decision of who makes his squad based not on whether that player deserves it but " gives us the best chance to win" It's not a new thing. It happens every day to some degree in sports. Someone makes a decision as to who gets to play and who sits and injuries are a huge factor in that decision

And why should we blame Nick Saban? Should he be saying "No don't take us, we don't deserve it"? LOLOL.
He's right and he's only stating from the rules the committee uses to determine who's in. Injuries are and were taken into consideration. FSU is not the same team without Jordan Travis.
Are you sure you're a Georgian fan? I'm getting some LSU vibes here. LOL

it might be a better strategy than actually playing the game considering how shitty their offense is. Either way Georgia is going in dry

And who were they? It looks like they all played. BTW, ALabama's starting corner, MLB and DE were hampered by injury. Their starting RB did not play. That's also funny because were told not to use injuries as an excuse back in 2021.

The committee following their own bogus rules doesn’t justify it’s own existence.

The problem is the committee is talking out of both sides of it's arse here...

Alabama gets in, because let's acknowledge this: the SEC has won 14 titles since 2000. That's one of the unspoken criteria- the SEC has been the best, so the SEC gets a team in.
*and Bama is the poster-child of SEC dominance.

But going with that reasoning, the ACC has been the 2nd most successful conference, with 3 of the last 10 champs.
The Big 10 has 1 of the last 10, 2 since 2000.
The Big 12 has 2, Texas in 07 and OU at 2000.
The Pac has asterisks. In 2003, USC gets the AP while the LSU wins the BCS; in 2004 they win the BCS but it's voided.

So if you're talking conference strength, the ACC has posed the only viable challenge to the SEC in the past decade, and you're leaving out their undefeated champ.
What makes Washington or Michigan better than them, again? And keep in mind, those are the #1 and #2 seeds.

They have no one to blame but themselves. The ACC voted for this

Well, the good news is they actually play this game on the field so we will actually see the result.

That changes nothing about the fact that FSU earned in on the field of play and Bama didn't.

Bama lost a game and looked like a steaming pile in several other games.
